Come and experience a classic Tassie beach shack, Mauroma is an elevated holiday house located right on the water, where Moulting Lagoon meets The Great Oyster Bay.

This property is proudly and professionally managed by Freycinet Holiday Houses.

Comfortably furnished, with stunning ocean views, you cannot get much closer to the water than this.

Mauroma is a two bedroom property with an open plan living area and sundeck.The main bedroom opens up onto the deck and has a comfortable queen bed, the second bedroom features a double bed. Free Wi-Fi is provided and the retro kitchen is well equipped. There is a large TV and a comfortable living area where you can sit back and enjoy the view.

Guests can relax out on the sundeck, enjoying lunch or a morning coffee in the sun.

Mauroma has one bathroom and a separate toilet, and plenty of parking.

You can view the most stunning sunsets from this location with Dolphin Sands Beach on the other side of the river mouth.

Amazing view

The stay was so pleasant with breathtaking view from the bedroom, lounge, kitchen and deck. Very impressed with setup and professional touch to the house. Unfortunately front door and bath door was quite problematic

Peaceful view

The view is fabulous! Cute little cottage with renovated bathroom and kitchen. Loved watching the tide come and go.

Amazing views and cozy interiors

We enjoyed our time in this sun-lit place. It has an old-world charm and perfectly located for exploring surrounding beaches and national parks' tracks.

Great view

The view is amazing. Quit a dated house with needs a bit of TLC. The couch could do with replacing as stained ++ and felt dirty. Difficult to converse with the property manager, this may be as there are multiple properties under Freycinet Holiday Rentals. The walk through the backyard is very dangerous as overgrown ++. If a bit more care tot the property was taken, the stay would have been much better.

Great location and comfortable stay. Kitchen supplies basic but ok. Would have been great to have bins that facilitate waste separation for a more environmentally friendly impact stay.

The view from this little house is OUTSTANDING.

The position is amazing, the best sunsets. Kitchen has every thing you need, a laundry to do a quick wash. Neat and tidy. The bed in the main bedroom is so comfortable. More than comfortable for 4 people to stay and place, wish I could of stayed longer.

Fabulous location, well appointed shack

This is an older property but well maintained and clean, very private and peaceful.Beds are comfortable. Great kitchen and laundry facilities. Would happily stay here again, the views are amazing. Couple of cons: kitchen does not have any freezer space which is a bit inconvenient and the couch looked a bit grubby.
