This spacious pet-friendly 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Townhouse is located in the ideal spot for your kid-friendly family! Just a short walk to Mammoth Creek park, you can fish the creek, use the playground, or picnic at the tables or large grassy area. Just a short walk across the street and you are at Vons, shops, restaurants, the movie theatre and the Rock n Bowl bowling alley! The Chateau Sierra complex also offers a large outdoor swimming pool, indoor hot tub and sauna. Everything you need to keep your little ones entertained.

This split level home has a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the upper level with adjacent large deck. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked just like home, with a private gas grill on the deck so you can grill up your favorites. Relax on the large comfortable sectional and enjoy the pellet stove, while watching your favorite movies on the 55" Smart TV. A separate dining area offers seating for 6. The living area is also equipped with a home office desk so you can work remotely if you must! A private washer and dryer makes laundry a breeze. The master bedroom upstairs features a California King bed and full bathroom adjacent. The second bedroom located downstairs has a King bed with en-suite bathroom and bonus vanity area. While the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a Queen on the bottom and a Twin on the top, making it the perfect room for the kids. Access to the 1 car garage from the entry way makes snowy days even more hassle free.

This condo sleeps 7 people, there is an additional air mattress provided for a maximum of 8. The home has a 1-car garage as well as outdoor parking for 2 vehicles. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are 3 stairs to this unit, two levels inside, no smoking is permitted, and the home is pet-friendly (one dog allowed with additional pets on approval only). Our calendar is updated in real time.

Amazing Location!

This was the perfect location for our spring ski trip. Conveniently located right next to Vons, the bowling alley, and Mammoth Tavern (our favorite restaurant in town) and plenty of other dining options. The shuttle is right next to it so we did not need a car the entire trip!

Horrible customer service

This condo needs a full update

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The living dining room furniture is fine. The beds are cheap and squeaky- mattresses fine. Bunk only solid for kids. Great dishwasher but fridge had broken drawer guide, cabinet pulls falling off, pans marginal, dishes fine, had to drive to office for coffee filters next day after getting up and needing coffee. Bathroom faucet no pressure and handle broken. Downstairs baths have sinks so low I felt like they were for a preschoolers and drains were running slow. No door mat to help keep floors dry/clean. One bath towel per person, some wash clothes, some hand towels. One bedspread dirty but overall unit clean. Heater in 1 bedroom LOUD, 2 bedrooms had no heat. Decor super basic. BUT accepts pets, and great location for walking to store/restaurants/services/shuttle. Has a garage if you have a smaller car. We didn't look at spa. I told staff about heater and faucet - hopefully they get fixed. Expensive for what you get in my opinion, but hard to find anything affordable for a family in Mammoth...

We all enjoyed our second week-long stay in this particular dog-friendly one-car garage condo for seven. It's a quiet condo in a convenient location. The cozy kitchen was well-stocked with newish pans, glasses, and cooking utensils (we were glad we always travel with our own pasta pot as that was the one main item lacking). The bedding and towels were very nice. We appreciated the cork flooring on the main floor: it's much easier to keep clean than the downstairs carpeting. Washer-dryer was a bonus. Furniture was comfortable and having a balcony to catch some fresh (cold) air was nice, as was the fact that Von's was a short walk away. Those who used the hot tub and sauna reported they were clean and well-maintained. We absolutely love that the walking paths in the adjacent area are cleared and accessible year-round for long strolls, and there's also a bus stop for transportation to the ski zones and village not far from the Chateau Sierra entrance. Overall, wonderful vacation!

Cute and cozy!

Located right next to the pool and Jacuzzi! Also really close to the bus stop which can take you to the ski resort. Loved that the 2 master bedrooms were on different floors too! We all felt like we had our own quarters.

Okay place, not great customer service

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was okay. Cute place, lots of lights out, few supplies, just little things that made it not as easy a stay as it should be. But when I mentioned this all on my review on AirBnB all of a sudden they clapped back with a broken drawer in the fridge that we did NOT do and tried to charge us for it (after they had reviewed and an amount of time that meant someone else could have done it). We fought it, but it was ridiculous.

Family and Dog Ready ... Slopes a bus ride away

The condo was a great fit for our family of 4 teens and dog for opening weekend. It was a half block away from a Red Line stop so easy access to the mountain. It was an affordable place to include a dog and have the number of beds and baths we needed for our big crew. Nice to have a garage but it was too skinny for our suv ... it was a fantastic place to keep the gear though. A couple of notes for the management: The blanket and comforter were missing from the master bedroom (we traveled with extra blankets so we were ok). Maybe throw a stronger scrubber or steel wool under the kitchen sink since the pans were difficult to clean with what was provided.

Cosy Townhouse

With all the melting snow outside, there is a ton of dirt that gets tracked into the entry hall. Even though we all kept our shoes there, after a week it was getting tracked all over the place!We had some maintenance issues in the upstair bathroom which we reported on checkout.The location is GREAT, right on the red line and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is just as described. It’s just over 1400 sq feet so it’s certainly not spacious. The furniture is a little beat up but okay for a family vacation. The unit was clean except for the kitchen which needed a good wash. There was quite a bit of grime on the drawers and around the sink. We wanted to prepare big breakfasts each morning but there was no skillet w a flat bottom to cook pancakes or eggs. There was one skillet that was so corroded we could not use it. There was no can opener. That sort of messed up our mornings and caused additional expense. Bar stools at the counter made it very difficult to get everyone around the table. But the beds were comfortable, sofa comfortable and two bathrooms. It was just okay.

Great pet friendly condo

Great layout and location

We were very comfortable with the layout of this place. Nightly dinner and card games at the table. Relaxing after skiing on the big couch. One bedroom upstairs by the common area and two bedrooms downstairs. We made all our dinners there and had what we needed. I’d recommend they get a larger pasta pot. As 1 box isn’t enough for our crew but with 2 boxes of rigatoni, I was pushing pasta into the water at the very top of the largest pot. Everything was easy to use and figure out. We easily walked to the shuttle each morning for skiing.

Not as nice as the photos would suggest; wouldn't stay again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good: Clean. Natural sunlight. One-car garage. Walking distance to Old Town and close to shuttle. The less good: Kitchen was poorly equipped. There was literally one wine glass. The pellet stove is the only heat on the main floor so we were huddled around the stove waiting for it to heat up the house. Glad there wasn't anyone sleeping in that bedroom on the main floor because it would have been freezing for many hours. The outlets seem "loose" like you would plug in something and the slightest jostle would make the thing unplug. Also, there is no floor mat in the entrance so it's quite slippery walking on the bare floor.

Great Location, Decent Condo

Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a great location - a short and easy walk to the shuttle as well as the Vons Shopping Center, The Tavern etc...Check-in and Out were easy!The condo definitely needs some work..the pictures make it look cleaner and newer/nicer than it is... some easy maintenance and upkeep should be done to make this a bit more comfortable. However, it is still a decent accommodation and worked well for our group (three couples) during our winter stay.

Clean, good location, but needs updating

Positives: very clean, great location (walking distance to restaurants and a short shuttle ride or a car ride to the lodge), comfortable living room & dining area, spacious. Kitchen is pretty well-stocked although you have to look around a bit. Had everything we needed for all our cooking and baking except the measuring spoons which is not a big deal. Negative: The bunkbed is terrible…. Very uncomfortable and very rickety and wiggly. If one person just barely moves in the bed the whole thing shakes. The two of us that were sleeping in the bunkbeds gave up after two nights and then the third night slept on the couch in the living room. The other two beds were so-so as far as comfort. The bathrooms definitely need updating and the the floorboards upstairs were creaky so you could hear walking around from downstairs If the upstairs guest walked around in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or get a drink of water for example. I thought it was very overpriced when we stayed the week before Christmas for what we got. Overall though we had a pleasant experience minus the sleeping which is pretty crucial when hitting the slopes three days in a row.

Thanksgiving in the Mountains

The kitchen could use a few more pans that are in better shape. Most of the frying pans were in poor condition.Really appreciated having a garage to park the car. Pellet stove worked great kept us very cozyOverall we enjoyed our stay. Not a bad place to crash if you are on the slopes all day, for sure!

Good value and convenient location

The living area was comfortable to hang out in, the large balcony looked out over the pool and a grassy area (just past where you park) and the kitchen was decently stocked.Note- there are no chairs on the balcony so we had to bring a couple of indoor chairs out, next time we’ll bring our camp chairs. And for you wine lovers, there are only 2 wine glasses. :( If I had know I would have brought my own since there were 4 of us.I think the online pictures are quite accurate. You can walk to a fun little brewery and also a local coffee shop, plus the grocery store is only a couple of minutes away. It was a very relaxing place to stay!

Great place to stay

We were short on towels and trash bags… sent an email and both were delivered within hours… only two complaints…. Shower floor was dirty needs a good cleaning… and we had to buy batteries for the tv remote. With that said it was an amazing trip and a great place to stay.

Our family, six adults, stayed in this pet-friendly home in a quiet complex for a week. The location is great, the garage & washer/dryer useful, the layout perfect, and it gets good natural light. We tend to travel with our own stockpot & skillets - glad we did - and the kitchen only had the basics for 6, so we had to wash dishes between meals...definitely not a deal-breaker, of course. Thank you!

Perfect spot!

Our fam of 4 came here for 4 nights with another couple and 2 dogs. The location was awesome…lots to walk to and still close to the mountain. It was quiet and clean and we have marked it as one of our new favorite spots when visiting Mammoth. Will be back!
