There is lots of space for a large family or families with separate living upstairs and down. Upstairs has polished timber floors throughout a large kitchen, bathroom, open plan lounge and dining and 2 bedrooms with a queen bed each. There is also a romantic fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. You are welcome to bring your own firewood or a box of wood can be provided for a small fee. Ask when booking or during stay, please do not take from stockpiles.
Downstairs has a separate kitchen, small dining table in living room, a bathroom, and a large bedroom with a double bed and 2 singles with trundles.
The kitchen has all amenities including coffee pod machine (Nespresso pods), Microwave, Gas stove, Oven and all utensils, etc.
There is a separate BBQ area with a large outdoor table and chairs under cover outback.
Or you may choose to sit on the deck that looks out at the bluff and farmland and normally get a lovely evening breeze.
We are pet friendly and have a fully fenced yard. Dogs allowed outside and downstairs but not upstairs as they scratch the polished timber floors.
BEDDING: Pillows, quilts in covers and mattress protectors are provided but please BYO Sheets, pillowcases and towels. Linen can be provided on request for an additional $20 per person.
Second Valley Beach is a short walk away with the local Second Valley Jetty Kiosk there if you have forgotten anything or would like to enjoy a great meal from their takeaway menu. They also hire kayaks and SUP boards, book these early during peak season!
For those who love to catch their own dinner, there is fabulous jetty fishing from the Second Valley jetty or if you're a boatie, the Wirrina Boat Ramp is just a few minutes drive away as well.
Second Valley, voted one of the best beaches in Australia, offers stunning views of the coastline and is popular for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving where you may catch sight of the leafy sea dragon. Being only 90km South of the Adelaide CBD and between Normanville/ Yankalilla and their popular cafes and pubs, and the Cape Jervis Ferry service to Kangaroo Island.
