This property is amazing. Sunsets over the water. Perfectly maintained. Comfortable beds. We will be back. Jason was very helpful and the neighbors were very welcoming.
I recently stayed at this charming cottage in West Covehead and can't recommend it enough! The cozy atmosphere and stunning surroundings made for a perfect getaway. The beautifully decorated and impeccably clean space had all the amenities needed. Loved relaxing in the living area and on the deck, which has breathtaking views of the landscape. With local attractions and beaches just a short drive away, it truly is an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat. I'm already thinking about making this a tradition and returning soon!
The property was great! Very quiet area and incredible view! Jason was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions. The property and house were very clean. It was also very handy to have a washer and dryer to use in the house. Overall definitely 5 stars and we would highly recommend a stay at this property.
This cottage/house provided a great retreat for our family.
Highlights included the sunset on the cove and moonlight reflected on the water, as well as preparing many meals in the well-stocked kitchen.
We read on the deck facing the water and relaxed on the late sectional sofa.
We visited Brackley Beach daily (sometimes 2 or 3 times) and explored Charlottetown, Kensington, Cabot Park, French River and North Ristico.
We stayed for two weeks!
Easy location to travel from. We toured the island in many directions, north Rustico had great restaurants to try and enjoy the view! We could hang out on the deck sun and shade. It was also great to have a bar b q to use for the evening after a busy day of touring. The house is for sale so I’m not sure if it will be a VRBO for much long.
House is beautifully located on Brackley Bay. Amazing sunsets!
Property is well equipped with everything one would need.
It is an older property but good value for the price point.
Seating needs to be updated and enhanced but that is the only thing we would say definitely needs improvement.
Although it says no pets allowed the lack of carpets and lots of running room in the back means this would be a good addition for the owner to attract more renters,
Overall four stars out of five.
Property was great. Only problem were the spiders. Daughter is terrified of them. Back deck was a sweeping game all day long. Not sure if its being so close to the water or what.
But or what
We had a fabulous 9-day stay here in late June of 2024. Check-in and check-out was super easy, and the property itself is extremely well located to be able to access Charlottetown and all of the beaches and sights we wanted to see. The views from the deck were amazing.
The host provided plenty of amenities (towels, linens, soaps, dishwasher & laundry supplies), and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The only thing we missed was a dryer rack to hang clothes which could not go in the dryer, but we made do.
I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to explore beautiful PEI!
This is the second time that we stayed at this house. Once in September of 2023 and now in July 2024. We absolutely love the house. From the cleanliness of it, to the layout. Everything is easy to use. It feels like home to us. Not to mention it’s got one of the greatest views on the island and the sunsets are beyond incredible. Would highly recommend to everyone to stay here. Plus Jason the host is very accommodating and is easy to get ahold of if we have any issues, which we never did.
Property was very nice. Very quiet location. Amazing sunsets. Was wonderful bbqing and enjoying evening fires on the deck with a beverage while watching sun go down. Kids had a great time passing the football and playing soccer in backyard. Brackley beach and Stanhope in PEI national park were only 10-15 min away for amazing beaches. Charlottetown and airport were only 20 min away. Great central location for exploring entire island. Property itself had a cozy cottage vibe with lots of space for everyone. Cottage provided all necessities and we were very comfortable. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway or looking for a central location to explore all areas of the island.
Overall we were pleased with the property and aside from a slight hiccup with the TVs on day one everything was as promised. While the following did not cause us any difficulties we thought it might be appropriate to give you a heads up on the following
a) the fan above the stove does not work;
b) the valve in the toilet tank leaked;
c) the mattress in the master bedroom was pretty well shot and you might want to replace
But I reiterate that none of these things caused any difficulties but we thought the owner might want to know.
All in all we totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it in future

Serenity
We couldn’t have been happier with the location. Watching the osprey and eagles during the day and beautiful sunsets at night on a quiet bay was perfection.
The house was clean, well stocked with toiletries, kitchen soaps and such. FYI the bath towels are in a closet behind the bathroom door.
We did have a few problems with the house. Both the WiFi and fireplace were not working. While Jason did respond and set up a service call for the WiFi to get it up and running the fireplace was never fixed.
Just a suggestion, have a notebook with some general instructions on where items can be found and how things operate would be helpful.
Jason was a pleasure to work with and returned my emails and phone calls quickly.
What is not to love about PEI!
For the benefit of the owner and future owners, this short review is being given.
Overall, the stay was great and the location is magnificent with absolutely incredible sunset views over the bay. The only detail that is to be noted for this property is the master bedroom mattress was extremely worn and flimsy. After a very bad first night of sleep with my wife, this was noted to Jason the property manager. Told him we are not picky people but this detail doesn't fit with the excellent property and the level of price. The response was it would be looked into ASAP. Approaching the end of the week with no further response, I reached out again and informed we were leaving a day early strictly because of this detail. Ensuing response was that it was a $1300 high quality therapeutic mattress and mattresses are about personal preference. That is hard to take and very difficult to believe, and encouraged him to personally evaluate it. It's too late for our family but for the sake of future renters, I hope this is appropriately addressed. The other 2 mattresses were reasonably good. When you can't sleep well, vacations can be difficult. Otherwise, the property and vacation week in PEI was absolutely wonderful.
Overall an excellent stay. The location is excellent, on Brackley Bay, awesome sunsets, close to pretty much everything, beaches, Charlottetown, etc. Cottage itself was very nice and clean.
Located minutes away from the stunning Brackley Beach, this cottage is nestled into a nice little cove with a great view. The owner was easy to communicate with and the cottage is very well kept. 5/5
Thank you, Jason, for a wonderful week. The house is spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed to feel at home and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The back deck gives you a front row seat for the best sunsets anywhere!
Exceptionally clean, both inside and out. Beautiful location in a quiet neighborhood with great sunsets. The house could use air conditioning or, at minimum, working ceiling fans and blackout curtains in the bedrooms. The owner responded promptly to our questions. A house book with details about the surrounding area/suggestions for fish markets and restaurants would have been helpful. There was no water access behind the house despite some photos leading us to believe there was. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property and highly recommend it.
