Amazing get away house
What an incredible space Wine Down Manor was for our family (7adults 2 grandchildren) get away to celebrate a major birthday. Jill and Craig are very generous hosts with all your needs supplied at their very comfortable and well appointed home. There was enough space to enjoy board games comfortably. A highlight was the huge back yard where children and adults alike could run around and play ball with a great outside seating area. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Cooking and preparing food was a pleasure in the lovely kitchen. A good design of the house was that the bedrooms and living areas were well separated. It was an amazing 5 days away for our family!

We stayed in this beautiful home for a Weekend with friends when we were going to The Killers concert at Hope Estate. It was a perfect location for the free buses, and for a local Babysitter, and a perfect hang space for the 3 of our families. There was plenty of space For the young kids too. All round, great stay. Lovely holiday house in the best location
Wine Down Manor is a gorgeous house. Jill was a responsive host who provided us with lots of helpful tips to make our stay comfortable. We had a wonderful time in the house. With two families, there was more than enough room for everyone. And we were so close to the supermarket and bottle shop for supplies. We would be happy to come back and stay anytime.

Stayed at Wine Down Manor for the weekend with friends, attending a wedding. Huge bathrooms for the girls getting ready and the guys stayed put on the pool table. Recommend to any larger group looking for a base to attend a wedding - much better than booking separate motel rooms.

Great place to stay at
Our host Jill was great, she was very communicative leading up to us checking in. The property is well furnished, very clean and has a lot of entertainment and space to keep all guests entertained. Great location - close to a lot of hospitality venues and attractions (we did wine tasting and went to golf courses which Jill kindly helped us with by providing a list of suggestions). Would definitely come here again and recommend my friends to come here. Thanks for having us.

This is Craig and me at a Hope Estate concert. Craig and I have been married for 35 years and have 5 children, the youngest is 23. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, a wine or two and just enjoying life. We love hosting and ensuring our guests enjoy their time in the Hunter Valley. We feel very blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places to live in NSW, and we want our guests to feel right at home at Wine Down Manor.

Why they chose this property

This home is just a stunning place to stay for groups or families if you want somewhere just that little bit special, yet within a stone's throw to all the local amenities. For example, the local bottle shop is just next door (locally owned and shuts at 7pm), as is local the local Italian restaurant, Metro service station, fish and chip shop and Wollombi Providore (fresh vegetable shop with local fresh produce).

What makes this property unique

The moment you walk through the large double doors of Wine Down Manor, you will be in awe of this home. It is spacious, well styled and yet homely. The front of the house is where the 5 bedrooms are located, then you walk down down the wide hallway into the entertainment part of the house. A huge modern kitchen with stone benchtops, on trend cooking facilities and a large pantry will ensure plenty of space to cook and spend time with those you love. The kitchen overlooks the lounge, pool table area and dining room, and large glass stacker doors open out onto the alfresco area and super large back yard. The media room that contains a TV, modular lounge with sofa bed (which can be made up as needed).
Wine Down Manor is the perfect launching pad for wine tours, concerts or visits to the Hunter Valley Gardens and that perfect place to retreat to when you need to 'wind down'. All popular attractions can be reached within 10-15 minutes, and we can even send you details of a wine tour company that will pick up your group and bring you back. No designated drivers required!
