Sunswept is a beautifully renovated, 2 BR/2 BA condo within Captain's Walk in Palmetto Dunes. With the amazing ocean front and beach views from the private porch, you'll be completely breath-taken when you step outside. This is the perfect location for a family vacation or getaway. In the living area, you'll find an open concept layout including living room with a sleeper sofa, dining area, and kitchen. All three areas are renovated to include new furniture, HDTV, stainless steel appliances. The views from the living room are amazing on its own, but wait until you step outside onto your private porch. The spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean await you. There's even a private walkway right to the beach.

The master bedroom includes a King-sized bed with HDTV and en-suite. The beautiful private bathroom includes a 2 sink counter and glass step-in shower.

The guest bedroom includes one twin bed and one queen bed with HDTV. The guest bathroom is right outside of the bedroom with a full bath to include a tub/shower combination.

Captain's Walk is a beautiful resort within Palmetto Dunes, with a public charcoal grilling area and community pool with children's pool. There is direct access to the beach from the pool.

Love staying at Captains Walk
We almost always stay at Captains Walk on our yearly trip to HHI. This was our first time staying on 1st floor. Mixed feeling - missed view of the ocean but absolutely loved convenience of having balcony with steps to sidewalk. Unit was totally as pictured and management was very responsive to one minor issue (remote on TV) Would definitely use Fivestar Properties again

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great value and great location! Short walk to the beach/pool. The condo needs updating and a few cleanliness issues but other than that it was great.

Love Captain’s Walk!
When we come to HHI we love to stay in Captain’s Walk! This unit is in the last building and while it does have an obstructed view you can still see the ocean. It is nicely updated and comfortable. Would stay here again!

We love staying in Captains Walk because it’s right on the beach and walking distance to pickleball and golf and bike rentals. This unit was perfect and we had no issues except when the beach gate code changed mid-week. We were happily helped out by a friendly neighbor though. We like the first floor unit as you can walk right out your patio door to the beach or pool.

roll out of the bed and over the beach dunes, or into the pool. Condo was great location to several beach bars (omni, sonesta, the dunes). If you are not a beach person, great system of bike trails that are paved. Quiet and comfy!

Last summer beach trip
My sister and I wanted to take our grands for an end of the summer beach trip. The condo was great waking distance between the beach and pool. The condo could use some upgrades but it for our needs. We were able to sit on the steps and watch the deer and bunnies come to eat grass. It was wonderful!!!

First floor location makes it easy to get to pool(renovations are great!) and beach. Well stocked kitchen. All appliances worked properly. Comfortable furniture. Great communication with property manager! Would stay here again!

The unit was clean and up to date. We use the kitchen and everything we need was there and in good condition. Quiet, great views, close proximity to HHI restaurants, shopping and other venues. I will consider a high place on list of choices for next trip.

First floor walk out convenience
Location of Captains Walk is ideal and proximity of this unit to beach can’t be beat. Still private and you can see the ocean. If you like going in and out at the beach, this is the spot. Interior was average, some nice improvements but shower head in guest bath and guest bedroom beds were not the best. Tons of fees and price shown did not include VRBO fee. Otherwise comfortable and great location. Would consider for a week long trip because of convenience.

First Floor Utility Condo
If you don’t sweat the details, and are at HHI for the beach, then this is a nice stay. We like the quick access to get out onto the beach and this unit does just that. It needs some led light bulbs, a simpler cable/tv set up, and better arranged guest room furniture and it would be a 10/10.

It served it's purpose
The unit needs some updates. One of which was performed during our visit (washer/dryer replaced). Property manager was informed of broken blinds, but maintenance didn't repair or give us privacy temp drapes for sliding glass doors. Great location and access to the beach is what made this vacation. But I have to admit the surrounding community close to the resort was lovely.

Perfect beach Access
We have stayed at Captains Walk every year for 12 years now and this is our 1st time being on the ground floor. We actually enjoyed it. It was very nice to walk out and be right next to beach walk. If you are coming to sit on your balcony and look at the ocean this is Not the place for you. I would recommend providing beach towels and rearranging the spare bedroom. Dishwasher needs replaced asap. Also an ice maker. Other than that we loved it! Palmetto Dunes is the best area of Hilton Head to me. I would def stay here again.

Nice stay on beach
The condo was perfect for our family vacation. Overall it was pretty clean and met all our needs. The only thing missing was a wine opener, so we bought one and left it there for future guests to enjoy! Check-in was very easy. The biggest issue we had was that we had to access the wifi password and other information on the Internet, but we did not get good cell service in our condo. We had to drive a little bit down the road to get enough service to access the wifi password. It would be nice to have a paper copy of the passwords and codes. The grounds were well kept and it was a nice quick walk to the beautiful beach!

Nice location and convenient to the beach
The property was decent, very convenient to the beach and pool which is all that really matters. The owners should pay a little more attention to detail, like fresh batteries in all the tv remotes, a cleaned up inventory of kitchen utensils/plates, etc., instead of mish mash, and some LED light bulbs (I think half of all light bulbs were out or blinking). I'm pretty certain that the place had an odor of cigarette smoke so that needs to be straight forward in the listing. We were not there to sit in the room but some of these things could have made it nicer.

Prefect Location
Having stayed in Palmetto many times we knew we wanted to stay in the same area. Captain’s Walk is the best location so far. This unit is exceptional and very comfortable and I would love to stay in the same unit again. My only complaint was that the pool was being renovated and we were not informed that it would not be available nor would the hot tub which I really needed for my back issues. Because of the renovation delays the water normally used to wash the sand off if you and your shoes was not available which was inconvenient. I understand that the delays were not anticipated and the property manager did work with us make reparations and helpful.

Hilton not for me!
The property was well stocked for initial entry. However someone needs to pay close attention to your floor baseboards and corners. Need to clean that thoroughly. The bathrooms were very nice, the furniture was nice but back breaking. The location was great and everything functioned well. As for traffic I could NOT recommend Hilton for a visit. Felt like I was back in Chicago. No matter what time of day there was traffic traffic and more traffic. Ocean was as usual just beautiful. Surprised that two upscale seafood restaurants did not have handicap access doors. Shopping and golf courses are orecelant on this island.
