Crowdy house is a 1960s beach holiday home only one house away from the ocean,with three bedrooms,2 living areas and a large deck looking over the ocean ,only 4 hours north of Sydney offering a delightful and relaxing holiday in the friendly village of Crowdy Head the jewel of the mid north coast surrounded by Crowdy Bay national Park.
It’s only a short walk to Crowdy Head surf club and sunsets cafe on the beach,activities on offer include fishing,swimming,surfing,diving,snorkeling,dolphin and whale watching (in season) walking or just relaxing.
Stroll to two clean sandy beaches (surf club with cafe overlooks a great kids beach (4WDs permitted with permit)with 50m to the boat ramp it’s an Anglers paradise,Cattai wetlands and Harrington local markets nearby.
Harrington is only a short drive with 2 pubs ,Club ( Harrington Hotel ,Club Harrington,Golf Club and Shoreline Tavern)with courtesy coach available ,also many cafes and restaurants to choose from.
A very unique shopping center is in Harrington with an IGA ,Chemist,pizza,Bakery,post office,,Hairdressers,fish and chips ,kebabs,Newsagents ,as well as other specialty shops ,all the things you will need for your memorable holiday of a lifetime.
Forster is 45min south , Port Macquarie is 45 Min north and Taree is 30 min west which puts you in the middle of everywhere. Please note :guests are responsible for providing their own linen for this property ( sheets ,pillow cases,beach towels,bath towels and tea towels ) Doona’s ,Doona covers,pillows,pillow protectors & mattress protectors are provided only. A clean, comfortable, well equiped house in a very peaceful location. Lovely ocean views from the deck and the two upstairs bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time. Everything you might need was in the kitchen etc. Great variety of toys and games available.Lots of choices available to stream on the tv.Lawn needed a mow so grandson couldn't really play outside

Wonderful holiday house
This wonderful holiday house allows a family group to spread out in comfort, and enjoy those amazing views and sea air. It provides a wonderful base to go forth and enjoy the beach and the general vicinity.

We loved our stay at Crowdy Head. Paul and Brenda were fabulous hosts. The property was lovely with beautiful views across the bay. If you love the water you will be spoilt for choice with access to great fishing, a calm north facing patrolled beach for the kids or a south facing beach for the surfers.

Perfect family accomodation with beautiful views
This property has gorgeous views and everything you could need for a family getaway, except for linen (this was not clear in the ad and we arrived with no sheets for the beds or towels!). The house has everything else you could need, full spice rack, many condiments and lots of kitchen equipment. It has laundry detergent, a nice large clothes line and pegs, beach toys and 2 camping chairs. Lots of puzzles, games and dvds for the family. Hosts are lovely, responsive and helpful. We arrived to a beautiful welcome gift and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful holiday property
The host was lovely and kept open communication for our stay. The house was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed for a great holiday away as a family including kids DVD’s and puzzles. The view from the deck was beautiful, we watched dolphins playing nearby. Easy instructions to check in. We will definitely utilise this property for future family holidays.

We stayed 5 nights. Arrived to find a lovely cheese platter and a cold bottle of wine in the fridge. Unexpected and we are really grateful. The views over the boat harbour and bay are great. Comfy beds. Fridge kitchen and pantry stocked with everything you would need. Bonus proper coffee machine with coffee provided. Very caring and lovely hosts.thanks again

Crowdy Head Break
A good sized house for us and a couple of friends to spend a few days exploring the area. The kitchen, lounge and verandah all give lovely views of the bay and coastline. We were able to watch whales breaching while having lunch. There are plenty of walks from the house, either up to the lighthouse, down to the small harbour or along the beach.

Great place for a family stay
The property and it’s location were just what we wanted price was right the weekend was so relaxing sitting on the deck Only thing I could fault was the kitchen and lounge room had to wiped over as there was a film of dust and cobwebs . But that was an easy fix for us . Everything else was great I would recommend this property for anyone with a family who need a break . We will definitely book again thank you

Lovely, clean, light, spacious house with an incredibly well stocked kitchen, which even included coffee beans in the refrigerator for the espresso machine, air conditioning in the living area, a large deck with a BBQ, table and chairs and a large, fenced yard. There was nothing missing that we needed for a comfortable stay.

Great property with amazing view
It was a great experience. The owner prepared the house for us with detailed Christmas decoration. The property has a amazing view and is at a great location. The property is super clean and the kitchen was v nicely prepared for us with all utensils and again it was very thoughtful of the owner to keep take away boxes, bottles for coke and many more. We were highly satisfied and felt a 5 star experience at the property.

Great outlook
The property was quite good with everything we needed. Major problem was it was a bit isolated and having a tribe of young ones made it hard to transport everyone into Harrington where ppl were visiting were. We managed to get the Pub bus to take us in one night though.
