Busselton Hithergreen is a modern air-conditioned 3 bedroom farmhouse. It is located on sweeping acreage near the Ludlow Tuart Forrest and is just a 10-minute drive to the local beaches of Forrest Beach and Wonnerup Beach.
The home has all you will need to for an escape to the coastal plains of Busselton. The large air-conditioned master bedroom is located at one end of the property and has a large king-size bed, ceiling fan and sliding doors opening out onto a separate alfresco. The ensuite has a walk-in shower and alongside is a spacious walk-in robe. The hub of the home is in the centre with an open kitchen, living and dining space which is warmed in the winter by an open fireplace and cooled by a reverse cycle air conditioner and fans. The modern kitchen has a view of the bushland behind the home, if you are lucky you might even get a glimpse of the woolly Highlander cows roaming. The lounge area has a Smart TV and comfortable sofa for relaxing and the dining room has a large timber table which seats eight people.
Walking down the hallway to the opposite end of the home is a media room with two sofas and a Smart TV for relaxation. This wing boasts air-conditioning to all bedrooms - the first has a queen bedroom with robes and a ceiling fan and a third bedroom with two single bunk beds and a ceiling fan. Both of these rooms have access to a large bathroom with a shower and freestanding bath. An office with a play station is opposite the media room for the kids entertainment. The laundry is located at the end of the home with a washing machine for guests.
The alfresco is recessed boasts an open fire (double-sided from the living area) and an outdoor sofa to enjoy a wine at the end of the day.
There is parking undercover for two vehicles in the carport and to the rear an enclosed lawn area. The Highlander Cows are very friendly, and if they are around they can be hand-fed. Their favourite treats are carrots and bread.
The home has a small fully fenced yard which is ideal for your little ones and furry-friend to play safely all stay long however, please note that there are farm animals surrounding the property including lambs and we ask that dogs are supervised.
If you are bringing a pet, please add the pet fee at the time of booking. Please be aware, as per local council regulations, pets cannot be left unattended at the property.
A starter pack of firewood is provided for the fireplace during the winter months. If you require extra firewood, it can be purchased at local service stations and hardware stores.
*This property is surrounded by farmland, with electric fences bordering this property. Please be aware during your visit.
Linen is included with every booking. This property is self-catering, however, a starter pack of toilet paper, hand soaps, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, sponge & bin bags is provided.
School Leavers: We do not accept any school leavers bookings at any time of the year.
Exclusive Escapes wishes you an enjoyable vacation but we also ask for you to show consideration to the neighbours with respect to noise, especially after the hours of 10pm. Council regulations allow holiday homes to be rented for accommodation purposes only and not as a function venue e.g. for a party or wedding. Functions and gatherings are not permitted and, if evidenced will be closed down immediately.
Please be aware that noise complaints are a breach of our terms and conditions and may result in forfeit of your bond and / or possible immediate eviction from the property.
Whilst pets are allowed, there are working farms with livestock nearby. Please keep your pet under direct control at all times.
*The property is run completely off grid and uses batteries during poor weather and overnight. Please make reasonable efforts to conserve power, in particular the air-conditioning should be used only as required -running multiple units is not recommended overnight. Power outages may be possible where care is not taken.
