My wife and I travelled to Takayama in December just because we saw this property. We were not disappointed. The property is beautiful in person and the scenic winter views in Takayama are simply magical. We highly recommend any body who is interested in the area to consider this property. The hosts have good English and are really helpful. My wife and I had an issue with our car getting bogged in the snow and they were really helpful. Very genuine people. We recommend if going to Takayama that you hire a car. The town is small but worth driving around.
