About the area
Twizel
Twizel is home to this holiday home. Ladybird Hill Vineyard and Ohau Skifield are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Lake Pukaki and Mueller Ridge.
I think the property had been renovated, the floors creaked a little (despite new carpets) but the walls and ceilings were spotless and the doors all fitted like a dream. Bedrooms were all comfortable and the living area was huge, with outdoor flow to a great deck. Everything worked properly and Amy (property manager) checked in via the app just in case.Although the location doesn't have lake or snowy mountain views (similarly to the rest of Twizel) it is in a quite neighbourhood and you can star gaze at night.
House is lovely and warm. Unfortunately a few small errors - no dishcloth or teatowel and the oven was in desperate need of cleaning (had burnt food sitting in it) but the Property team responded promptly and were there first thing to resolve. Other than, thoroughly enjoyed the property.
