Nice relaxing and inspiring experience

The family and I had an amazing time. My children are still talking about the whole experience and about when we're going to head back. We expected to have to trek off campus, however, we decided to just hang around the pond area and participate in the activities on campus. The lodging was clean and easily sleeps 8. The decore was very tastefully done and welcoming. There was a fire pit out front where we spent the evening roasting marshmallows, as well as a hammock where I went to enjoy a nice nap. It was nice that the showers and toilets were separate to allow for more efficient use. Highlights: Stream fed pond that you could; swim, canoe, kayak and SUP on. Beach volley ball court, sauna, spike ball. daily and nightly activities (i.e. drum circle, musical jam sessions and guitar around a bond fire.) I'm definitely not doing Woodfield justice as it's more of that feeling that you get when you're there. Thanks Woodfield Crew! Farmer Mike, Caleb and Megan and of course Louie!

Excellent camping alternative!

We were greeted by the staff at Woodfield when we arrived and they showed us all the information around the area. The Lodge was clean and tidy and had enough room for 8 people with the 8 beds. The area around the lodge was really cool with a small pond to swim and various hiking trails. Using the golf cart helped cut down travel time as well. We enjoyed using the wood furnace and also firepit outside, they supply each lodge with lots of wood logs to burn. Also the BBQ unit was really nice as well it was fully operational to cook various meals. The only things I would recommend to Michael to add to the existing lodge are these things: -Mosquito net on the windows, as there might be families that have allergic reaction to certain insects and if you want to cool down the lodge with windows open, the bugs will get in. -A microwave (You could bring your own I guess?) would help warm up leftovers from the night before on the BBQ. They do have a pressure cooker/coffee maker and stove/oven, but nothing beats a microwave to warm up stuff fast. Might be required for families with infants to warm up formula. -Possibly a small washer? If families stay for longer period, it's hard to pack more than few sets of clothing and a washer would help cycle that. Other than that, everything was awesome and would recommend to anyone! I'd like to try to come again during winter months if it's open and experience snow/lower temps in the lodge!

We enjoyed our stay at Woodfield immensely. The property is beautiful and tranquil, the cabin is very comfortable, and we enjoyed swimming, hiking, and hanging out with the goats.

Loved the experience!

Our family group included my wife, mother, 3 boys, ages 10, 8, 6 as well as our dog ….. and we all loved the experience! (Dog could not officially vote, but if you saw him in the pond or running around in the wooded area, you would see it on his face😊 ). The lodge accommodated us very comfortably. Visiting the farm was a great experience for the kids. They were also happily occupied with frog catching and jumping off the diving board at the pond.
