Loved it!!!!

Simply amazing

This cabin was absolutely beautiful it was everything we expected plus more this was our first time in the mountains and in a cabin and they over exceeded our expectations. We went for Christmas and they had the entire house decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree they were fast in answering emails when I wrote them and very nice. A MUST STAY

Mountain hideaway near Tallulah River Georgia

Our stay was stellar. The owners had many modern touches throughout the cabin (thermostat, large TV, fan remotes, appliances, and all the phone chargers) but it is also homey and relaxing. The cabin is around 15 minutes from Clayton, but only 5 minutes from fishing and hiking in one of our favorite spots: Tallulah River. If you want a relaxing outdoor focused vacation, this is the place to come.

I needed to unwind! My husband wanted to fish. Mission accomplished on both!

Just what we needed! I was able to sleep late, cook, watch some tv, and spend time with my family. My family enjoyed fishing the Talullah River and seeing their first bald eagle on the river! The eagle appreciated the gift of 2 recently caught trout. This was our second time in this cabin, and it won’t be our last.

Plenty of rest and a lot of fishing!

I think we enjoyed this October visit better than we did last summer. The weather was nice and cool - we slept well and enjoyed cooking and being together. We love the location!, right down the road from the Talullah River - great fishing!, and we even saw our first bald eagle!! We’re definitely coming back!! You won’t find a better host!

Good stay minor details

Very little if any cell service. No TV access to hulu to watch sports only Netflix. Upstairs shower had no water pressure...if you drive a truck very tight fit in the driveway turning around.

Very nice and convenient cabin

We loved our stay at this place! We have rented many many cabins in the Rabun County area and the good ones we place on our list for repeat visits. This one is going on that list! Very clean place, checkin and communication was perfect and the location is bear to Clayton (the nearest town) and also one of our favorite trout fishing destinations, Tallulah River. Thank you for a great stay!

We just love this home!

Everything you can think of, they had it. We cooked, had 9 people, played games at the big table, hiked, and the kids loved playing around the cabin! We will definitely come back to this BEAUTIFUL cozy home again.

Peaceful mountain getaway

Our vacation was so peaceful and relaxing. It was in a great location close to many great attractions. It felt so cozy and was decorated for Christmas when we arrived. The cabin was fully stocked with anything you could need. They owners thought of every detail even down to toothbrushes/toothpaste and a hair straightener if needed. There are plenty of sleeping arrangements with 2 additional queen size air mattresses included - perfect for large families. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic property with a few quirks.

Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of the cabin and the thought that went into the guest experience. They include a number of nice touches to make the experience a little more enjoyable. The kitchen is also updated and has everything you need to cook a nice meal. However, it is a newer property and it seems like they are still getting a few bugs out of the system. For example, there is a HUGE TV at the property (it is very impressive), but the wifi didn't work well enough to stream anything or watch a game during our stay. We did manage to start one show but it cut out about every 5 minutes or so. We all did have a blast though and I would recommend a stay here nonetheless. I imagine the hosts will continue improving on the quicks as they come up based on how much thought and effort went into the rest of the guest experience.

Beautiful Property

This property is absolutely stunning. It’s nice and cozy about 20-30 minutes from Helen,Georgia and a beautiful golf ⛳️ course in Sky Valley Georgia. Fresh linen, welcome treats, coffee, ice, and water. Tons of chargers 🔌 in various areas, wash 🧽 pods for laundry 🧺 and etc. The owners thought of everything.

Fishing Success!

Loved this house!! It really fit our family of 6. Even the two who shared the large bunk bed enjoyed their sleep. Very close to the Talullah River where we fished everyday. After suppers, we would all sit around the huge tv and compete with game shows. The area is quiet but still very convenient to Clayton for ice and groceries. We will be back!!!

Amazing Experience

Amazing time up at Persimmon! Cabin was extremely nice. Clean, accommodating, and a close drive to a ton of stuff to do. All in a weekend, we went to the top of Black Mtn, Hiked the Tennessee loop, saw Toccara Falls, Minnehaha Falls, Lake Burton (Laprades Marina), and chilled out in downtown Clayton. The cabin it’s self is a perfect place to chill for the day or call it home after some adventure. Not to mention that the owners went above and beyond to personalize our stay. Love, love, loved it.

Perfect Launching Pad

Incredible well appointed cabin which location is perfectly situated as a launching pad to enjoy the sights and enjoyment in every direction. The cozy comfortable cabin had every amenity we could have asked for and the owner was so helpful! We loved relaxing on the front porch with our coffee! We will definitely be back! 5 stars!
