Welcome to luxurious Surfside Resort! This extensively remodeled unit has great views of the Gulf and is just steps from the beach! Surfside has a large, heated pool, kiddie pool, spa, restaurant, beach bar, and much more!
You are invited to come enjoy this open, airy, 2-bed, 2-bath condo in Surfside Resort with a beach view so close you can hear the waves from every room!!

In addition to the perfect location to relax at the beach, your vacation will be a breeze in our extensively remodeled kitchen. Appliances include a convenient wall oven, microwave, glass cook top, dishwasher, and large side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker. New granite counters and an island make for an open, airy, and spacious dining suite to gather around for a meal or even game night! Whether cooking, eating, watching TV, or just relaxing, you always have a great view!

The oversized balcony is also large enough for you and your guests to have a meal on or to enjoy the afternoon sun and is accessible from the kitchen, living room, and both bedrooms.

All bathrooms have updated tile, cabinets, and lighting. The master bedroom suite is beautifully decorated with a king-size bed, flat screen TV, large lighted walk-in closet, and a spacious master bath that includes a washer and dryer. The porthole window in the master bedroom makes you feel like you are cruising the waters of the Gulf. You can sleep with the sliding glass doors ajar, hear the ocean and feel the breeze!

The second bedroom features balcony access, two double beds, a flat screen TV/DVD, mini-fridge, microwave, and full bath.

We've also just added a premium pillow-top air mattress (stored in the master bedroom) - so we can now accommodate up to eight!

The unit is just two floors up from Surfside's private walk-over to the gleaming white sands of the Gulf Coast, a private sundeck, swimming pools, and hot tub. We've even left you some beach toys, too! There are no worries with beach parking or crossing Scenic Gulf Drive to get to the beach--Surfside has the only private walkover (and the only year-round heated pool) in Walton County!

Everything was exactly as shown on the website. The unit was clean and had everything you could need for your stay. Location of unit was great. If you didn't want to wait for the elevator, you could easily take the stairs. Plenty of room to cook together, or just relax. Buyer Beware
We were five women aged 55-61, grandmothers. We followed all instructions for check out plus some, and I have never seen this many instructions for a VRBO. We washed the towels, folded and put them back, stripped the beds and placed all sheets in front the washer (there was no laundry detergent in the unit to start the sheets in the washer), which I informed the owner on day 2 of our 4 day stay (to which he replied some stores which I could purchase some), we brought in the patio cushions, and emptied all the trash. In addition to instructions, we swept, cleaned the countertops and glass coffee table. However, on the day we left, the owner wrote us stated the cleaner stated the unit was "very messy" and the cleaner spent and extra 90 minutes cleaning, and he was keeping a large extra cleaning fee from the colossal damage deposit. I asked him to describe the "mess", which he couldn't because there was none. I also asked him for pics of the "mess", which he couldn't because there was none. Luckily, Muhammad, from VRBO backed me up in that the owner, had no evidence of alleged "mess" and therefore implored him to return the three figure extra cleaning fee. Thanks VRBO! Otherwise, the place was nice enough, and the location was good. The condo pool was very small and not on the beach (saw some pics that were not this pool). Definitely not worth the stress of fighting to my full deposit back!

We love this facility, it’s close to all the Destin features and easy beach access with the sky walk. The room had all the pots and pans needed to cook. Loved the view. Communication with owners was fast and efficient.

The condo was very clean and spacious, great for two families even. The location to the beach was so easy and quick. Having the restaurant and beach bar on site was a huge plus! The owners were very kind and quick to answer any questions. My little family loved it and we can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful vacation with our grandchildren. The condo was wonderful! We were very close to everything. The only issue was parking at times, and long waits at the elevators, but that would not deter me at all from renting there again from the owners of that specific condo. Pool area was excellent. The condo is as advertised. We rented for the month of March and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great views of the beach, two pickel ball courts and walking distance to restaurants. The beds were very comfortable, check in was easy and the owners communication was timely.

Wonderful unit! Loved everything that it had to offer. Great beach view from balcony. Bedrooms where nice and spacious. Two full size baths made it nice for showering and getting cleaned up for dinner. Large open kitchen/living room flowed to the balcony. Loved that unit had plenty of sands toys, so we didn’t have to go out to buy any! I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone! Great experience and Dave and Terri were easy to work with 😊

Why they chose this property

Surfside sits in a beautiful area, right on the beach. The beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with beautiful white sands and blue water, and it's just a few steps away from your room! There is an excellent restaurant at Surfside, and many more within a short walk or drive. There's even a tiki bar right on the beach where you can take a break and get a drink in the shade.

What makes this property unique

Unique because it is one of the few units to completely take the wall out that separates the kitchen from the living/dining area. Now it's wide open and spacious enough to see the Gulf and hear the waves while having coffee in the kitchen, relaxing for a nap in either bedrooms, or just a short walk down two floors to the pool and beach walkover. The walkover means no parking issues, just walk over the top of Scenic Gulf Drive and down the stairs to the beach. We also have the ONLY YEAR-ROUND heated swimming pool. Conveniences galore! Beach setup is included (May through October). The Royal Grille Restaurant at Surfside is also available for fine dining with gulf front views and now has an outdoor dining bar/grille to sit and gaze at the ocean while enjoying food and drinks. The first floor has a gift shop, salon, and massages too! There is a workout room for the guest that doesn't think swimming is enough exercise! Everything you need is right here at Surfside. The resort also does special events so if you have a wedding in your future, they can have their reception right here, with gulf front views right in the reception hall! There's a lot waiting for you at Surfside!!!
