Close enough to Byron Bay and Ballina and far enough to enjoy peace and tranquility. Great little cozy cottage for a small family. Beautiful back drop and away from the larger towns only be a 20 min drive.
What a great location. We enjoyed the cattle coming up to the fence. We also loved having a fire at night, though it would be nice to have firewood supplied.
Loved the house was very new and clean had everything we needed along with a morning greeting at the fence from the local cows. Was very quiet and peaceful with an amazing view from the top of the hill.
Had an overall enjoyable experience at this property! Well equipped and set in a tranquil spot.
The friendly cows (and a solo kangaroo) visiting the fence at dusk added to the experience.
This property is a great choice if you’re looking to catch up on rest after spending the bulk of your days visiting the local tourist attractions in the Byron region.
Would recommend air conditioning for the warmer days though as the fans weren’t able to cool down the property enough.
Overall, would recommend and would re-visit!
Loved our little get away to Byron hinterland. The view was beautiful, it was so lovely waking up to it each morning and watching the sunset.
For joff, I'd really recommend getting a small portable air con for the cabin, the heat inside can be quite unbearable during the day in summer, even with the fans on full speed. Just having a small air con would make the world of difference in the summer when the temperature is soaring high. Would stay again if there was a small air con unit.
Our family stayed here for the weekend. It was a great little spot with a sensational view (and fire pit to boot!) It was beautifully fit out and thoughtfully stocked full of everything you might need and Joff was a pleasure to deal with. It was about half an hour out of Byron and I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for some time out in a beautiful, quiet and relaxing place.
We loved our stay, a simple yet beautiful and modern place. We enjoyed our stay here very much, coming back after a day of enjoying the many local spots was the perfect end to our days up in Hinterland. Very clean and well equipped. Only thing missing was a Nespresso coffee machine … but I’m being spoiled I know ;) Definately recommend this place.
