We had a wonderful stay at this property. We appreciated the location as it was close to Long Point Beach and the backyard was awesome for the kids to run around on.
The pictures are completely accurate! A beautiful, extremely clean property. The kitchen was well equipped to handle meals and there is a bbq on site. The fire pit was perfect. greatangseatingseatingthroughout
We enjoyed this comfortable and well-appointed cottage near Lake Erie, in a quiet cottage neighbourhood".
Met a friendly neighbour, and spent a fun evening in the backyard, with BBQ and fire-pit. (next time need kindling/fire starter.).
Support bars in the bathroom (tub/shower) needed.
We liked the atmosphere of "lake life", Long Point beaches and conservation areas and restaurants/diners/ice cream shops a short (15 min?) drive away.
A very pleasant few days away from the city!
Lovely stay - was the perfect sized space for our group (4 adults and 2 children under 5) - loved the 2 separate living areas for privacy and quiet time.
Rental had all amenities we needed - and is an ideal location for touring around
Communication with property management was swift - no concerns. Would recommend
Cottage is great! Recently renovated and very clean with everything you need for your stay. But we spent most of our time around that wonderful fire pit in the backyard. The area also has plenty to do - breweries, wineries, golf, trails, beach etc. We will definitely be back.
This is a beautiful property in a lovely, relaxing area of Ontario. Lots of nature and beaches. Check out the Long Point eco-tour company just down the road. Amazing.
Only suggestion is to bring your own towels so that you are not short. Coffee machine is Keurig (BYO coffee)
What a wonderful stay we had! Check in was not seamless, but the host allowed us to stop in and out some perishables in the freezer. Just a small little bump that couldn’t be helped, and it did not affect our stay in any way. The cottage is super cute, and very pretty. We had day trips planned, there is a lot to do close by and we would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay in Booth's Harbour. The neighbourhood is great. You can easily walk down to the harbour and around the block. The neighbours are all quite friendly.
The house was very clean and the air conditioning in the front room was able to keep the entire house comfortable.
If the Internet was faster our stay would have been perfect. Luckily we didn't require high speed internet for the 5 day stay and we had books to read. We would have brought some DVDs if we knew there was a BluRay/DVD player.
We would definitely stay again if we wanted to spend some time around Long Point.

Cycling trip
The rental was a nice rental, however was not the cleanest i have rented throughout the years. The oven was very dirty, the stove top was greasy with a smeared film from being wiped but not cleaned. Advertised a dishwasher, but no dishwasher tabs to be able to use it. Not enough towels available. We were four and only two were available. The remainder were left in the laundry room on the floor. Two were hanging on the door. Wasn't sure they were clean. The laundry room is not very clean either. The bathroom was disgusting. The bathtub had soap scum. Beneath the vanity was a lot of dust bunnies, a hairbrush, and and empty toilet roll. The basket on the bathroom wall ( decor) was very dusty. The door frames had greasy dirt from what i will assume is from peoples hands over time. The patio table and the six chairs had a lot of bird droppings on all of them. I realize that happens but we arrived after checkin time and this could have been hosed down before we arrived. It is a beautiful backyard. I have rented several times and this is not in my opinion acceptable. The rental would have had a five star rating from us had it been clean. Found out while driving to the rental which was a 9 hour trip, that the coffee machine was a Tassimo and that we would need to buy that brand of discs. This could have been on the listing as information. Other rentals provide coffee on the norm but was not the deal breaker, but there were too many little things that were disappointing.

Has potential
This house has much potential, given its location in a quiet residential neighborhood. A few items however need to be addressed. We were disappointed when we opened the door to a strong, musty smell. After calling the host, she suggested the home had been closed for four days without the AC on and this was likely the cause. We were unable to fix this with the a/c and it remained a problem throughout our stay. Also, despite the home'sdescription, there was no cable television. However, there was a satellite dish on the roof of the home. When we callled the owner, she explained there was no cable, satellite tv or even access to local stations but we could, however, watch Netflix. The owner suggested we connect our laptop to the tv. This was impossible as the wifi was slow. Other problems included lack of towels. We were left two only, although we did borrow 2 beach towels we found in a kitchen drawer. There was no hairdryer, no paper towels in the kitchen, no tissues, no functioning clock, no bedside lamps, no instructions left on how to dispose of garbage, recycling etc, no towel rails or hooks in the small bathroom (so we had to hang damp towels across chairs in the dining area), no welcome coffee pods and the local supermarkets did not stock the correct type for the machine, no sugar or condiments. If there was a larger group (the house advertises it caters for up to 8 ), it needs to stock 8 cups, enough towels, and face cloths etc. There was no seating around the fire pit as shown on the web listing and the fire pit still had trash in it from a previous user. This was no big deal for us but might have been for a larger party. Overall, this should be a great place to stay but needs a few things addressed to make it comfortable.
We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was clean well decorated. We had planned for 8 to stay but we only ended up having six so there is a lots of room for everyone to steep comfortably.
Even if we had eight there would’ve been plenty of room. The cottage had all the necessary tools for cooking and the yard was nice for playing some yard games. our friends have a trailer and boat down in the Fin and feather Marina so it was very close. We ended up staying at the cottage for dinners as the hill down to the marina was a little challenging for my 80-year-old mom to climb up which had nothing to do with the rental just a little steep for an 80-year-old, the rest of us were fine with it but it did change some of our plans for night time and the cottage was able to accommodate us all having dinners and night time fires after a day of golf, boating day and beach day. Everyone enjoyed the space and neighbours were very friendly.
Great size of cottage and property for a family getaway.
Clean, spacious place to enjoy family time, meals in dinning room and plenty of rooms for sleeping accommodations for everyone. Great neighborhood for walks.
We absolutely loved staying here. Very clean and modern with all the comforts of home. Excellent communication from our host, great location and useful amenities. Highly recommended!
We were very happy with how clean and family friendly the location was. There is a very large yard for kids to play and fire pit to enjoy family time. It is very close to Turkey point which was a bonus for us. Would definitely stay here again.
A beautiful location for anybody looking for a quiet country get away. Lots of great places to explore and still close enough to major cities for a night out. Great accommodations. Easy to get comfortable and relax in.
My family and I really enjoyed our week long rental at this cottage in Booth's Harbour. The entire cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. We felt at home right away. The AC, Wi-Fi and kitchen appliances were all in great working order. The backyard is huge and great for campfires and hanging out on the back deck. It was really nice to have an in unit washer and dryer too! Our host was very helpful and would respond to any and all questions we had very quickly. It was the perfect week away. And BONUS is The location was great. Very close to Turkey Point Beach, Port Rowan and Long Point Beach. We got to visit farm stands everyday for fresh veggies and corn. Dont hesitate to book this spot for your next family getaway to Lake Erie!
