St Patrick's Day for Family of 7

Parents with one adult kid and two teen kids met with Grandparents in Savannah to celebrate St Patrick's Day and the 200th Anniversary of the Parade. Three rooms (with connecting baths) worked great for the two married couples and the older kids, with the youngest sleeping on the sofa. Great view of Broughton Street. Closest parking is over 2 blocks away (we chose the Courthouse to be away from the Parade Route for $25 for Friday evening to Saturday afternoon0>

Fabulous Location!!

This apartment was better in person!! So much space, each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a plus! Couldn't have asked for a better location. Everything we wanted was easy walking distance. Home was very clean and we loved how secure the building was. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, updated, downstairs music too NOISY.

Sonder has a great property here. The check in process was awesome, the price was right and the apartment was great although it was pretty plainly decorated. Plenty of space, awesome location on Broughton street. Close to historic areas, downtown and all of the squares. Our biggest problem was with Maple Street Biscuit Company. Sonder put this apartment right above them. At 545 every morning, the music BLASTS from the speakers, which are bolted under the floor of the living room and 2 bedrooms of the apartment, trust me I checked. The music ends at 2pm when they close but it's even louder when the employees return at 6-10pm to bake for the next day. We asked them to turn it down, no luck. Sonder needs to engage with them if they're going to continue to rent this property. Zero quality sleep. I understand it's downtown and "noisy". This was a whole different level. This was only for apartment 2A. Can't say about any of the other apartments. Really like the place, but definitely wouldn't stay again and couldn't recommend it.

Fantastic location

The location couldn't have been any better for our group. Central to everything you want in savannah! Beds were comfy, 3 bathrooms was an added bonus. Kitchen was nicely stocked with plates, cups, utensils and cooking essentials.We made Thanksgiving dinner there and had pretty much everything we needed to do so. Cleanliness was decent. Although we all had allergies throughout the stay that we felt was due to dust. Our only real complaint is the lack of comfortable seating in the living room. One couch for a rental that could accommodate 8 people was disappointing. The place was big enough to put another couch! Also, the place was very echoey so if you have children playing it sounds much louder. Had a neighbor mention to us about the noise but we weren't really even that noisy. With being in a big city you should expect noise very late and early morning. Still all worth it in the end. Would recommend

A+ From Top to Bottom

The unit was amazing. Super clean. Location was stellar. Street noise was not an issue. The bedrooms are in the back of the unit so you really can’t hear the street at all. Very spacious. Very King beds in all the rooms.

Cleanliness and Communication Poor. Location great!

We arrived and the air conditioning was broken. I couldn't get a response by text so I called the service line. I was put on a call with a generic service department. They eventually moved us to a vacant unit in the same building. That unit's A/C was working but the floors were covered in some kind of gross slippery stuff. We had to wear socks the entire time. Our socks were FILTHY and when we did wear shoes, we were slipping and sliding all over. I messaged them twice about it with no response. The elevator and building hallway smelled horrible. My children called it the puke and pee elevator and we plugged our noses every time. The unit smelled just fine. Location: Right in the heart of Broughton Street which has a lot of night life, restaurants, shops, and coffee stops. It is loud so they provide ear plugs and sounds machines, which worked for us. If you are sensitive to noise - NOT a great location for you...you hear the party busses and music until late. Worked great for our group of deep sleepers! Size: The size of the unit is great. The beds are oddly low but clean. The living area is large but there is almost no seating...just one three person couch.

Value Unmatched

The Sonder at Telfair Square was an amazing stay option for my family of 8. The space was larger than I imagined from pictures, had all the needed amenities (3 king beds, 3 full bathrooms, 1 couch pull out bed, fully stocked kitchen, functional AC / WiFi / TVs, and more), and was located in the perfect spot for walking to all of Savannah's downtown treasures. Despite the populated location, sound was not too much of a trouble for us (Sonder did also provide white noise machines and ear plugs in case) and security was very well planned (multiple code locked doors). Communication with Sonder was easy and prompt. Parking was available in a nearby garage for $20/night (with in/out privileges). And, for the cost, this was absolutely more than I could have asked for. I would absolutely stay here again if I visit the area in the future.

Stay in Sonder Telfair Square

Apartment was situated in a great location to visit historic Savannah. It is located near poplar dining spots and shopping, which made for a great experience. The renovation made for a nice stay away from home. Loved the available space for the family. Parking at the advertised lot is a short walk away (about seven minutes) but somewhat inconvenient in getting luggage in and out. The luggage storage proved to be useful while we were on the go. I would stay here again on a future trip to Savannah!

Great weekend getaway to catch up with family. Perfect 3 bedroom each with their own bathroom. Each bedroom and bathroom us the same as the others , so no arguing who gets the better room. All are great!

Quick Weekend Trip in Savannah

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a little noisy in the morning when the bakery downstairs opened but the property provided ear plugs. It was very clean and spacious.

Great Stay!

Highly recommend; just blocks from main shops, restaurants, near the river etc. Very walkable to so much. Slightly loud "woo boys" can be heard on Saturday night since it is close to one of the main roads- but a noise machine is provided which helps! Overall great stay and communication with staff, would absolutely stay here again and recommend the same to others.

Great location in a great town!

Had a great weekend in Savannah and this location was excellent. Perfect set up for 3 couples and everyone had their own room with king beds and bathrooms.

Exactly as described. Great location. Quieter at night than described. But one morning woke up to LOUD music coming from maple street biscuit company at 6:00. But the rest of time it was no problem. Great set up. Only negative is I wish there was more seating in den area. Small sofa and one chair. But besides that it was perfect. Felt safe whole time — there were 3 codes required to access unit. Would recommend to families or even 3 couples. 3 king beds and 3 full baths were great!

Loved the Location

Our unit was located just right for us. Closed to a lot of restaurants and Walking distances to activities. The unit was very clean and well furnished. Only problem was the recommended parking garage. They did not honor the $10.00 a day fee is indicated in the email. But charged me $19.00 a day instead.

Labor Day Weekend

Property was great, easy to check into. Very clean and comfortable for our group of 7. Location was within walking distance to everything downtown! Only issue was the parking situation was explained (a specific deck was associated with the vrbo for a discount) but the link gave a selection of parking decks. Just be aware to click the right option of the few they present to you. Otherwise, great trip!

Dance competition

We were attending a dance competition and needed to be near the Savannah Convention Center. This property was about 2 blocks away and was perfect. There is a significant number of homeless people in Savannah, but we didn't worry because everything was passcode protected (from the street entrance to the elevator to the door to the apartment). There are tons of restaurants and shops in walking distance. And it is a short walk to the river walk. Sonder had thought of everything. The apartment was super clean and beautiful. They had provided many things including olive oil, dishwasher pods, and salt and pepper. There were more available, if needed. We will definitely use Sonder in the future

Great way to see the city of Savannah!

Great location! Rooms were good size with really comfy king beds in each! Loved that each bedroom had its own full bathroom too! Great veiw of Broughton Street. The street does get loud on the weekend evening but the host thought of everything! Complimentary ear plugs and white noise machines next to the beds! Brilliant! Plenty of space to have a proper sit down meal with a large group. Only suggestion is to provide more seating in the living room. We'd definitely come back!
