Great location for a beach vacation
We stayed for almost a week at this house with 2 adults and 2 kids. While the house technically sleeps more, it's really important to note that only 1 room with a twin bed has air conditioning in it. In order to get any air conditioning, you have to sleep with the bedroom doors open and even with that, the upstairs rooms were unusable given the heat (and the old house spookiness according to our kids).
Aside from that, we loved the sunroom, the kitchen, laundry room, deck, outdoor shower, and the big backyard. The proximity to Corporation Beach was really nice, but we mostly leveraged Mayflower Beach by dropping off there and then having 1 adult bike there after leaving the car at the house. You really can't beat Mayflower Beach!
We've rented quite a few houses, so a few things that would be helpful to know in advance are that the kitchen does not come stocked with paper towels, a clean sponge, or dish detergent; the bedsheets are not provided, but there are plenty of pillows and blankets in the house; there are some dish towels and bath towels provided in the house; and the expectations at checkout go beyond the usual start the laundry and the dishwasher.
Overall, we'd definitely stay here again and recommend it!
