About this property

Renovated, Pet Friendly Apt Perfect for Professionals, Travel Nurses + Students

Guests visiting us in Mount Vernon often fall in love with the convenience and walkability of this location, the exposed brick and modern finishes all while living in a preserved historical building - whether you’re a contract nurse here for a few months at one or our many hospitals in the city (the Johns Hopkins Shuttle stop for students and staff is just a 5 minute walk) or a Peabody Conservatory student or professor (also a 5 minute walk), or just visiting the city for fun or loved ones - you’ll find you are in the center of one of the cities main cultural districts.

Ready to explore? There are restaurants, coffee shops and food halls (Mt Vernon Marketplace is right across the street!) all within blocks of this building, museums (the Walters Art Gallery is just around the corner) - Center Stage and the Lyric Opera House are also in Mount Vernon. You can stroll through the park at Mount Vernon Place and visit the Washington Monument on your way to pickup groceries at Eddie’s. Our friends with dogs also enjoy that the Howard St Dog Park is just a block away. And of course downtown is just an eight minute walk away.

Need to get out of town? Transportation in Baltimore is plentiful - the light rail stop is around the corner, there is the Johns Hopkins Shuttle, the Charm City Circulator, the MARC and Amtrak trains at Penn Station, the bus of course, Zipcars, metro subway and the popular electric scooters. Private parking spaces may be available for $160/month or $10/day for stays less than two weeks. Inquire at time of booking.

This apartment is located on the second floor of a unique historic brownstone with tall ceilings, oversized windows, lots of light and all right in the heart of Mount Vernon. Kick back and relax in the open living space with cozy hardwood floors and exposed brick and stream your favorite show on our smart TV. Control the temperature in both your living space and bedroom with zoned AC and heat. Whip up your favorite dish in the full kitchen equipped with all the essential dishes and utensils. Stow away all your belongings in the spacious closet and dresser, take a bubble bath in your tub before crashing on the comfy queen size bed for a quiet and restful night’s sleep. We think you’ll love Mount Vernon life and can’t wait for you to stay with us!

Paid parking may be available for $10/days for stays less than 2 weeks or $160/month. Please inquire at time of booking. Parking spots must be reserved at the time of booking by providing your vehicle information (make, model, color, and license plate), even if your listing indicates availability of parking.   We can not guarantee availability of parking, if it has not been reserved ahead of time. Failing to confirm your parking spot and providing vehicle make, model, color, year and tag number may result in being towed. Please provide all vehicle information when requesting a parking space at the time of booking.

Great location. Super helpful host

My husband and I just spent 5 weeks at Roman’s apartment in Mount Vernon; we were in Baltimore to help our daughter and her husband with their new baby. Roman was super helpful and very responsive to any request. He helped us move our bags in, and when we needed to extend our stay, Roman made that possible by rearranging apartments for a new renter. Location is excellent – just across the street from the Mt Vernon Marketplace restaurants, a half block from the Walters museum, and a few blocks from really great restaurants on Charles St. Most important for us, it was a very easy and quick commute to our daughter’s house in Remington and to Sinai Hospital. Thanks!

Exellent home for Johns Hopkins Residents and other professionals. Great landlords! 5 stars!

As a plastic surgery resident with a one year assigning at the Johns Hopkins medical center I was looking for something safe, simple, and close to work. This apartment worked out really well. I did a lot of research and the monthly rate was only slightly more than an unfurnished place, but this one came with premium cable TV, 150 MBs internet, really nice cookware and dishes, classy furniture, including a fold out QUEEN sofa in the living room, for when my family was visiting. The building is quiet and secure and right across the street from the Mt Vernon Marketplace, so getting takeout and buying groceries could not have been any easier. I can not speak highly enough about my landlords the good people of Mt Vernon Flats. They truly, genuinely care about their tenants. The apartment was impeccably clean and parking was easy. Anytime I needed help and emailed them, they were super quick at getting back to me. My neighbors love them too! If you are coming to Baltimore and want an easy, well priced furnished rental go here or to one of their other properties.
