Pros: True ski on and ski off location. Roomy. Sauna is a nice bonus.
Cons: Dated. There were no coffee filters available (not what one wants to see after a 3.5 hour drive). We didn't find a compelling reason to drive all the way to the office to pick up paperwork and then drive all the way back to Sunrise. Why not do everything electronically and send the door code that morning? Would like those 30 minutes back.

Needs attention
We loved how close the unit was to the slopes. However, the unit itself needs remodeled on a large scale! The windows in the main bedroom are disgusting. The seal has been broken and the amount of dirt and mold make it horrible to look out. The floors throughout the entire main floor are in such terrible shape that it’s concerning whether they are actually safe. They are uneven, bowed up in spots and creak horribly even when the smallest 6yr old person walked on them. The toilet in the basement is so close to the wall it is almost unusable. I’m sure for anyone drunk it would be fine since it would keep them from falling off. The oven was difficult to use since it cooked so unevenly. Burned on bottom and uncooked on top unless broiler was used. We have stayed in several places at killington including other units in the same area. This was by far the worst condition. Tried to use facilities at sports center only to find out it closes before you even get off slopes! Pool was closed 2 of the 4 days we were there and outside hot tub jets weren’t working. Someone finally got it working after half an hour. Time to put some money back into what’s making you wealthy.
This was a great condo for my family while we skied at Killington. It’s a very short walk to the trail. I recommend using the Sundog Trail instead of the Sunrise Trail to get back. Sunrise is quite flat, and we had to take our skis off to cross a stream. The community center has a pool with pretty warm water, an indoor hot tub, an outdoor hot tube, a fitness room, and a restaurant. We didn’t discover the restaurant until it was too late. We definitely would have tried it. The menu looked good and the staff was friendly. If you use the whirlpool tub, the jets will come on again after the tub is emptied. Leave them alone. They need to expel the excess water, and then they’ll turn off. The kitchen has a regular coffee maker and a K-cup machine. It also has a toaster and tea kettle. The fireplace works, and there is plenty of firewood.
For this unit, when you walk out the front door, turn left and the trail to the sunrise lift is only about 30 yards away. The property is exactly as described. We checked in late, and had no problems, they even called me the morning we were leaving to make sure everything was good to go. All the linens and towels are provided, and relative to other ski-on/ski-off locations on the mountain you aren't going to find a better deal. It isn't ultra-fancy, but it's very clean, and really really spacious. We are a family of 5 and I would absolutely rent this exact property again.
Well appointed, a little dated, and tough location
Property was a good size for a family of 4 (two parents and two teen age boys) including all our ski gear. Well appointed for the stay, but definitely needs some updating. This location is quiet, but farther from the ski area than it might appear on a map...about 6 miles and the last mile into the property was very curvy and steep which made traveling stressful in the snow. Also, community sports center has very limited hours and limited open services.
Only issue I had was the jets in the master bath would turn on randomly every 15 minutes. I finally turned the breaker off therefore the power in the bedroom was off.
Everything was great! The booking emails did go to my spam folder, so be aware of that, but once I found them, booking was easy. I appreciated the communication from the rental company, and the house was in a great location and very clean! If I return to Killington, I would definitely stay here again.
