Main floor has Living room with gas fireplace, dining room looking over the water and full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and full bath. Bamboo hardwood floors. Second story has four bedrooms and a full bath. Bedrooms are as follows: One bedroom with queen bed, TV and full bath, bedroom at front of cottage with 1 queen bed & 1 full, another bedroom with queen bed and a room off that with a full bed. Also a sleeper sofa in dinning room.

Wonderful getaway!

This is a lovely classic cottage right on the lake. The views are spectacular, and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. The cottage has all the necessary amenities and is a perfect place to spend time at Lake Leelanau. It’s located a short ride to the halfway point of the Leelanau Trail, so you can easily bike into Traverse City or Suttons Bay. Highly recommended!

Charming cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage for a week. 2 couples and 2 dogs. The location is great, the house is as described, cozy and charming. The garden and planters are full of flowers, very pretty. The house and outdoor areas are comfortable. The owners are very responsive.

Great Location

Our family had a nice time at the cottage. There is plenty of space outiside to relax. The kitchen had most of the utesils and basic spices needed for cooking. It was very close to Traverse city wich was convenient. The property owners were quick to respond. I would recomend bringing water shoes if you plan on swimming due to the amount of rocks in the lake.

Classic lakeside cottage on a lovely lake

Jane and Jack were so friendly and helpful and their cottage is delightful. We heard loons at night and saw bald eagles fly over during the day. It was wonderful to sit on the dock and watch the sun set.

Classic Summer Lake House

A fantastic location for all-day water sports and beautiful northern Michigan sunsets. Not at all rustic, but more of a classic seasonal lake house. Everything was clean and tidy, and the home is well-appointed with everything you need for a great week on the lake. We had 7 adults and never felt crowded - spending most of our time out on the lake, on the dock deck, or in the front room that overlooks the lake. Parking is limited to 4 vehicles and there is not room on property to store your boat trailer (we improvised and made it work). The public boat launch is 2 miles away.

Lovely cottage on a gorgeous lake

Charming and cozy, this lakefront cottage is perched on the edge of the water providing sweeping views of the lake. Great fire pit, two kayaks and a dock with sunset views, this home does not disappoint. The well-stocked kitchen is complete with spices and fresh-cut flowers. The Comfy Inn lives up to its name.

Lovely up north cottage.

We enjoyed our time on Lake Leelanau. The location of the cottage was perfect. We explored the surrounding towns and wineries. We loved the boating, sunsets and fires at night. The cottage was as described and worked perfectly for us. Jack and Jane we great host and quick to answer any questions. Would stay again in their cottage.

Love the Lake Life

Charming from the moment we pulled up to the property. Has a quaint vintage vibe. Even though we are not family, it felt like a familiar place you were happy to see again.. How lovely it was to literally be right on the beautiful water of Lake Leelanau! Picture perfect!

Step out the door & you're on the lake with a nice breeze every day. 15 minutes to Traverse City & 15 minutes to Suttons Bay. Jane & Jack were wonderful & at the ready for questions or concerns. Cabin was quite old & rustic but extremely clean & we'll maintained. We had a great time.

Cutest Cozy Cottage

The cottage is exactly as pictured and the vintage charm is beautiful. The cottage has all the amenities for a comfortable stay on the lake. Our family had the best time hanging out on the dock and the deck, playing games with the lake breeze coming in through the large sliders and exploring Traverse City and the surrounding area. Jane and Jack were very responsive. The cottage was immaculate with everything needed for a laidback week on the water.

Wonderful lakeside cottage

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Comfy Inn. The cottage is terrific -- charming and cozy with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The downstairs living area in particular in nicely laid out and is larger than I expected based on the photos. Great outdoor spaces for cooking, hanging around the fire, or sitting by the water. Perfect location for visiting all of the Northern LP's top destinations, or for just hanging around and enjoying the lake. Hosts are wonderful and responsive. Would definitley go back!

Fantastic Location

What a great place! Our kids loved the dock, kayaks, and outdoor fireplace. The owners were remarkably responsive and helpful. Great biking and scenery nearby. The house is on the smaller side, but our party of seven (and a dog) never felt cramped. Lots of outdoor places and the bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out. We have stayed at a lot of places up north and would definitely stay here again.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The cottage is fabulous. .. perfect location.. gorgeous setting ...everything you need is there. And if it isn’t? Jack and Jane are wonderful! Very accommodating and available. Our kids ages 21,24,27, and 32 oh and Missy our doodle were in heaven! No one wanted to leave! From listening to our kids play guitar and singing on the dock, or hearing the waves crash during a big thunderstorm... it was truly special!

Beautiful cottage, beautiful view!

Along with my husband, kids, and mom & stepdad, I spent a wonderful week at the Comfy Inn. Jack and Jane are very caring, responsive owners who take great care of their home. This has been one of our most favorite stays in Traverse Ciry. We will be back next year.

Absolutely Wonderful

We could not have been more happy with our stay. If you’re looking for a relaxed vacation spot on the water, look no more. This is a beautiful updated home with tons of old cottage feel. Waking up and having coffee on the dock or porch was the perfect way to start the day. Combine the water with the amazing sunsets and you have the perfect location for your getaway.

Perfect cottage for family vacation!

This cottage was charming, comfortable, clean and convenient for our family get together! It was easy to communicate with Jane months before (concerns about pandemic), weeks before (what is provided), and even the days during our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the sunsets, fires in the unique fireplace outdoors, kayaking, playing games and renting a pontoon boat. It is close to good hiking trails, wineries, Glen Arbor, Leeland, Traverse city, and Suttons Bay. We had a few days of rain, but was able to enjoy the spacious living room with gas fireplace and sitting room that overlooks the lake. Our adult children really enjoyed this cottage as well. We made wonderful memories! It was especially meaningful to get together safely during the Covid-19 crises. I would highly recommend this Charming Cottage, especially if you enjoy beautiful lake views up close!

Amazing lakeside house!

Travelled from the UK to meet up with longtime friends who live in south Michigan and then spend some lake time up north. The house couldn’t be better. Great location which was close to everything we wanted - Leelanau peninsula, sleeping bear dunes, Suttons Bay, glen arbor, torch lake etc etc. The setting of the house is fabulous and must be the closest of all the houses we saw to the actual water - making it perfect and safe for the kids swimming. We felt like we were living on the water. Incredible view across the lake and full on view of the sunsets. The set up of the house to take in these views from the terrace, front room, front bedroom, Firepit area or the pier was perfect - we were spoilt for choice The owners were incredibly helpful in advance of the stay and really responsive. I can’t recommend this property anymore highly. Perfect in every way. We will be back!

Quaint home on a beautiful lake!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Comfy Inn. It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for the week. Our family of 5 fit comfortably. It has the perfect cottage feel we love so much. The owners are easy to contact. The only slight downside is you have to enter the lake from a dock, which isn't ideal for really small children but a small thing that didn't matter much in the end. Overall, it was a great stay in a great location!
