Gather with your friends or family for a weekend or how about a full week getaway in Gatlinburg. You may not even want to leave the cabin with amenities including a 9 foot theater screen and projector, pool table, hot tub, high speed wireless internet and luxury furniture. If you do choose to leave, you are just 8 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and 2 minutes to the Arts and Crafts Community.

The cabin features 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, gas grill and dining area. Gather around the fireplace or sit under one of the covered decks on a porch rocker. Plenty of flat parking. Washer and Dryer included for extended stays.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Disappointing End to a Great Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin and location were great, but after a storm knocked out our power we were forced to relocate and were not offered a refund even after discussing with Elk Springs. We were told that we could have been moved to another cabin, but we're not given the option. Only told that county electric was aware and working on the situation. If we had been informed of this we would have gladly relocated at no charge, but we had to move to and pay for a hotel for the night the power was out. Great property, great location, disappointing service. Probably will not be back.

Awful cabin and driveway

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Renter BEWARE! Driveway is nothing but a big hill! If you have a low profile car you will drag. All floors were sticky. If you want to go back to the 90’s this is your cabin!This cabin was not the one we picked, but apparently the water in the other cabin we rented was not working. When elk springs texted me the photos of this cabin I told them I would like a different one, and was told either to take it or leave it. No one tried to accommodate us, with help finding us another cabin, or one suitable to the one we picked out. Asked for a refund and was told it would seven days. Also this cabin was $400 cheaper than the one we had booked, and I had to request our partial refund. I’m sorry, but the customer service at elk springs is horrible. I will never do business with them again.

Moonshiner’s View

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This review is for the Moonshiner’s View cabin. The cabin is very nice, like all the Elk Springs Properties I have stayed at. It is in a great location, near the Arts and Crafts Community of Gatlinburg. It is decorated with pics of actual moonshiners, which is a nice touch. Now the bad - the parking is atrocious. I tried to park my Jeep Grand Cherokee by backing down the narrow driveway, and you have a rock wall on one side and a drop off on the other. There was very little margin for error. To make matters worse, there is a metal drain cover on the side with the drop off, and I was worried if I ran over it that I would get a flat tire. I requested another cabin and the folks at Elk Springs Lodge did a good job of finding me another cabin, and even gave me two options. But when I left, I tried to stay away from the metal drain cover and ended up scratching my alloy wheel on the rock wall, which I am going to have to pay to repair. Beware the parking at this location if you have an SUV or a truck.

My wife and I are elderly, and I could not recommend this cabin for an elderly person due to the parking. We had to back down this steep incline to get to a flat area with gravel to park and then walk uphill to the cabin.

Very weak jets in the hot tub and hair all over the filter. The floors in the cabin turned my feet black. That parking spot was really treacherous, no stairs just a steep hill. The pool table was old and not red like shown in the picture. One of your can openers is broken. The sheets were uncomfortable. There is no light above the downstairs shower, very dark shower lol. The cabin itself was ok, internet was decent.

Only negative was me and my daughter slept in the basement and it was freezing! Needs a pac unit down there or some heat vents. I could only find one in the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked and grilled out. Bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The driveway is a bit tricky but mastered it after first night. This is our third time staying with Elk springs thank you and we will see you again very soon!!!!

Nice cabin for the most part

Only had a few issues that I wasn't too pleased with. Let's start with the walls of the bathtub definitely needed to be washed (I absolutely hate touching a dirty tub)! There was hair on some towels and upstairs bedding 🤢🤮. If you plan on sleeping upstairs, plan on bringing a long charger cord for your phone because the outlet isn't close to the nightstands. I couldn't figure out how to turn the hot tub off so it ran the entire time I was there 🥴🤦🏽‍♀️. The furniture could be updated, looked worn and outdated. And lastly, the driveway is extremely narrow and steep so let the better driver parked the car so you won't end up in the cabin or the woods.

Reviewer Comments: Moonshiners view, awesome place the downfall we had to purchase light bulbs for lamps, empty propane upon arrival, and the worse they had construction 40 yards up the road all we heard for four days was construction when I reached out to elk springs I was told sorry for the inconvenience. I went to the mtns to have a peaceful 4 day stay and it was just obnoxious with construction and there vehicles from sun up to sun down. Including I had to back 100 yards up the rd to get in driveway! This was a large waste of money for something advertised as being scenic and peaceful

Between my wife and I we’ve had three knees replaced in the past ten months and navigating the incline was difficult and dangerous. Photos provide are misleading and should show the parking and driveway.

Parking at Moonshiner's View NOT SAFE at ALL. Safety HAZARD

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Parking in narrow driveway, at least 40 degree angle facing down. Part cement/part gravel. It was harder for my husband (legally blind) and my 6 yr old granddaughter to get in and out car and get to front porch without assistance. When opening car door it jerks open/downward because of the parking angle. After applying brake it sounds like something is breaking because the car actually moves forward. The picture looks nice on brochure because it only shows front door. If you think I'm exaggerating ask for picture with a car in driveway. Thank God it didn't rain until we were packing to leave. I was more of afraid of the driveway than the bears and we actually seen one on the road. If I could put ZER0 for property location safety I would. Safety Hazard for you and your car. Inside the cabin was good and the view was good.
