Nightmare

I would never rent at the Hyde again. To begin with, when we entered our unit on the 32nd floor, it was filthy. Obviously the cleaning staff is not too attentive. To make matters even worse, we were on the 32nd floor. Can you imagine waiting 30 minutes to get up to your apt. or 30 minutes to get down to the lobby. On occasion we had to resort to taking the stairs. The same issue arose every time we needed our car. We had to wait at least half an hour for the car jockeys. There is no self-parking. With respect to the beach, imagine waiting one hour to get a lounge chair if one is available! There were days when lounge chairs were not even available. What audacity to charge a “resort.fee” and not provide the services advertised. This building CANNOT accommodate the number of people it receives during peak season. It is a farce. Simply stand near the reception at the hotel for a short period of time and all one hears are complaints after complaints. I would never book a vacation stay at the Hyde again and will seek compensation from VRBO when I return home.

NOT a luxury stay, but pretty views

I stayed in Dec 2023 for 5 days near Christmas with my husband and I would NOT classify this as a luxury stay. The room was nice, but we had to wait forever for the elevator, there are 4 and often more than one is always broken. But even when all are working, it still takes upwards of 20mins or more for a lift. My family visited us in the condo and was put off by having to wait 40mins downstairs in a line to use the elevators. The elevators are a HUGE problem in this building and can easily ruin your stay. The staff is very scant, and it was difficult to get any services, such as valet or bellhop service. In addition, if you are planning to use any of the amenities like tennis, you need to reserve the time slots in advance of your stay. They are often booked out for weeks, we could not use it. The TV and phone stopped working after day 1.

Apartamento comodo y nuevo , Bueniismo vista bastante equipado desastre el funcionamiento de oos ascensores . Se puerde mucho tiempo. Estacionamiento no funcionaba la comunicacion para ahorrar tiempo y pedir el auto. Se pierde mucho tiempo en todo Pocos ascensores para la cantidad de deptos y altura del edifcio Persinal agradable y colaborador Areas comunes excelentes

Great Property and Nice Stay

The property was nice, WELL furnished, and felt luxurious for the price. Check-in was easy, ALTHOUGH, make sure that your name on your ID matches the reservation name. My ID has my full name and I made the reservation using my nickname (Mike vs. Michael); They suggested I could not check-in without some kind of proof but we worked through that easily and I was on my way. The washer/dryer were spacious thought did work great (especially the dryer). I worked around this issue and didn't report it until I left because I didn't need it. Staff was courteous and friendly

Stunning

Absolutely incredible property that was breath taking every single morning. I have not one negative thing to say. I will say this place was quite fancy and my kids are quite wild lol. And there was very limited kitchen cooking supplies (no oven mitts, no oven safe pans etc. ) keep that in mind. It didn’t take away anything from my 5 stars tho. Loved it !
