By The Bay Beach House is located in the heart of Birch Bay. Just one street up from the beach + ocean (a 1-2 minute walk!) w/ multiple public beach access points.
There is a salt water canal right behind the house that is fed and fluctuates with the ocean. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private, upper front porch out front. Relax + hang-out in the hot tub, play yard games. Walking distance to everything! and a 30 second walk to the infamous "C shop! "

Comfortable and “homey” fully equipped house near the ocean

We loved this house as it was exactly as advertised with a spacious equipped kitchen and open area for being together. Comfy beds, great hot tub, and lovely atmosphere. Close to the ocean. Our whole group of 7 friends said we would come again.

Great place for making memories!

This is an adorable, immaculate house, tastefully decorated, a block off the beach, with everything you could possibly want for couples, or a family with small children…and a host who was immediately available and responsive to all our questions. There were toys and games for kids of all ages, and treats for everyone upon arrival! The kitchen was fully stocked, and the outdoor shed was loaded with bicycles and beach stuff. Our two small granddaughters had so much fun, especially in the hot tub! Thank you so much, Michele!

Beautiful home

This home was a perfect stay for Thanksgiving weekend, only a block to the beach! The king bed upstairs is so comfy! Things I would keep in mind is back door lock is very difficult to work & better directions for Apple TV. Other than that we would most def rent again! Michelle is an awesome communicator as well!

A Wonderful Place to Stay

Hidden Gem

What a delightful stay we had. The house was charmingly decorated, as well as, spotless. The creek was pretty and location is close to the beach but very quiet. Even the neighbours friendly! The owner was helpful and available. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Spacious on Terrell Creek

We were Grandpa & Grandma with 5 Grandkiddo's and there was plenty of space for all! The open kitchen, dining and living space provided meals, crafts and game together time. The outdoor lawn shoreside of Terrell Creek is small but adequate with outdoor fire ring, hot tub, patio with picnic table. Also a bonus storage shed filled with accessories! The beach is easily accessible and just a corner away.

Grt clean space close to water

House was cute and clean, as looked as advertised. Michele was a grt host to deal with - very responsive. Nice little touches like the welcome basket. Location is quiet but close enough to some good hikes and breweries. Would definitely recommend.

Family Friends Reunion

Stayed for two nights with our close family friends visiting from overseas. We’ve been seeing each other once a year with all of our children for the past 16 years, they now range in age from 17yrs-25yrs. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the great room which has access to a great back yard. We also took advantage of the hot tub! The house had everything we needed. Great location, central to shops and the beach! Our host Michelle was easy to get a hold of and always quick to answer any questions. We will most certainly be returning.

Lovely cottage in Birch Bay

Where do I start? This cottage was immaculately clean, well laid out, and decorated tastefully. It’s on a quiet street with other beach cottages and is a very short walk to the beach. The cottage itself is on a little estuary/creek that feels peaceful and gives an opportunity to watch the local water fowl. The C Shop (candy, ice cream, etc.) is very close and restaurants are another 10-minute walk away. It has very comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen with nice extras like cooking oil, salt and pepper, and coffee. Communication with our host was very easy. Definitely one of the best vacation rental experiences I’ve had.

Gorgeous Vacation House

Everything was so perfect at this cute vacation house. It had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet. Thankful for all the goodies left for us in the basket. My grown kids who stayed with us were so happy to stay and did not want to leave. We would love to enjoy this place again. It was such a blessing.

Perfect family 'beach week' home away from home.

Very well stocked and maintained property. There is definitely a cozy, comfy feel to the house yet also a feeling of being pampered and welcomed. Basic cooking items and ingredients are provided so whatever type of cooking the guests need/want is possible. Plenty of extra blankets if needed and more than enough towels can be found. Oh, and so many toys, games, sports equipment are provided as well. All in all, the everything that's needed for a fun, busy vacation.

Good feedback from my crew.

Our company used the property for a few days to provide our out of town technicians with lodging. Their crew manager told me their stay was great and they were very comfortable. They hope to have the same property again in a few months.

Family Friendly Get Away

Michele and Steve have thought of everything! Their vacation home is perfect for a family get away. You are greeted with a basket full of goodies including wine, smores ingredients, and a gift certificate to the local C Store. The bathrooms have been recently renovated, the laundry room is tidy and user friendly. We especially enjoyed the different herbal soaps throughout the house. The shed is full of extras for the yard, even bicycles. The hot tub is well maintained and that is something that I don't take lightly being a hot tub owner myself. Hosting from a distance is an art form that Michele and Steve have mastered. They are readily available to cheerfully answer any questions you have. Lovely Birch Bay Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Birch Bay. Michele was an amazing host answering all our questions. House is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Nice location so close to the beach and a candy/ice cream shop. Backyard was fun for kids. Enjoyed all the toys, pack n play and high chair. We would definitely return..

Beautiful and Super Clean

This property is exceptional. The house is exactly as advertised and is extremely clean. All the amenities are in beautiful condition— we used the hot tub every day and it was -10 Celsius with snow on the ground! I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to spend a week in a quiet corner of the Pacific Northwest.

We are a family of 7 who enjoys spending most of our days out on our farm. When we aren't home; we're usually out running kids to and from hockey practices and horse back riding.
We had always dreamed of a place we could go to and visit; that would create concrete, and ever-lasting memories for our kids. It brings great joy knowing others are there doing that same thing with their own families and loved ones.

Why they chose this property

After years of dreaming and searching, and right when we least expected it ...We found our little beach house. We had always dreamed of a home by the sea...the smell of salt water in the air. The most perfect little beach town with walking distance to all the fun things.
