Beautiful area, cozy cabin!
We loved our stay in the cabin! It was cozy and everything we needed for a weekend in the fall- loved sitting on the porch and in the little seating area near the pond. It was a great location to the blue ridge parkway and a short drive to downtown Asheville. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet and comfy
Perfect place that’s quiet but close enough to Asheville to enjoy the city attractions. If you want a place that is a bit rustic but perfect for a family this is it.

A Quaint Rustic Cottage very Close to Asheville
A very quaint and rustic cottage, with nice open spaces very close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has two substantial bedrooms, one very nice bathroom and a second bathroom which is very small. Another space could be used as a small office. Enjoyed the fact that there is washer and dryer and excellent wifi connection. Close to everything, but with a feeling of rusticity and the presence of a beautiful countryside.

great setting
The strength of this property is its outdoor water feature, a koi pond below and a waterfall & stream feeding down into it. Seating around the pond and a nice outdoor patio above in the shade. The house is plenty adequate for 3-5 people depending on how tight you want to be sleeping. There were four of us.

Amazing Vintage Cottage!
We had a blast, the property is unique and oozes charm. It was easy to get in and out of the area to explore Asheville and Biltmore. The owner Judy was super sweet and the cabin was clean and well stocked. We loved spending the evenings cozied up in the living room and reading through the history of the home and surrounding areas. The lightening bugs were magical!!

Cute vintage cabin
Very cute house with some “quirks” you’d expect in a 100 yr old place. Plenty of squeaks and a hilarious second bathroom that is nice to have, but thank goodness for the nice main bathroom! Beautiful wood floors, decor and lovely artwork on the walls. We received yummy cookies made locally. Such a treat with our morning coffee. The house runs a bit cool probably because of the old windows. There is a fireplace but we didn’t use it, sadly, because it was full of ash and I have had plenty of experience with cleaning a wood burning insert. Not fun. The house is set back a bit off the road and the house number is not clearly visible, so get there before dark! We also had some trouble with the keypad entry but the owner, Judy, was quick to respond. It was a good location if you didn’t want to stay right in town; about 20 minutes to downtown. Ingles grocery store (very short drive) was a perfect place to buy all you need.

Restorative Stay
This was an ideal cozy cottage for my family of four plus my sister and brother in law. We had time to enjoy each other's company but also space to spread out. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen where we prepared our Thanksgiving dinner, and the firepit outside. The cottage had such a nice peaceful vibe and we all really loved it, even our teenagers!

Comfortable, and we would stay again. The house was set back from the road and neighboring houses, so was quiet and private. While not pristine (the yard needed some TLC), the home was comfortable and spacious. Everything worked, and we really enjoyed the place. If you don't mind things being slightly dated, I would highly recomend.

Peaceful Retreat
This is a wonderful little home with history. Everything you need. The koi pond was enjoyable. Location is just far enough away yet close enough to be in activities, shopping and nature in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommended.
