We had a lovely relaxed stay. The house is clean and nicely renovated with beautiful outdoor areas. Scotts Head is a stunning seaside village. We would happily stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay in Scott’s head. The location of this lovely home is an easy walk to the beach and local shops. The home was beautifully presented, very clean and comfortable.
Myself and husband and 3 children had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and very functional. Location was perfect as a short walk to the beach and shops. We asked for an extra towel and bathmat and any issues we had were promptly seen to by the owner. Would come and stay again.
A little slice of beach lifestyle with a side of groove
Great place, very comfortable, lovely decor; terrific position (walking distance to beach, cafes, shops, bowls, bistro- all you need) lovely downstairs “neighbour”, gorgeous backyard and gardens, fabulous entertaining outdoor spaces (undercover with fire pit and comfy chairs, big open window indoor/outdoor “bar”, terrific owners (they came very quickly when we had a small issue with the front door). We’re coming again regularly!!

Close to the beach
Gorgeous little house, close to the beach and shops.
The garden area is lovely and the fire pit work really well. The house was cosy and warm and the backyard is nice and private.
It is right on the main street into town though, so you do hear early morning traffic from the main bedroom.
The listing doesn't state, but there is a permanent resident downstairs (she was very nice) so some of the spaces are shared.
There is no off street parking, as stated in the listing, as the tenant uses the carport.
We absolutely adored the house and garden. Very well equipped, and all the plants in the house added to the homely feel. The numerous garden seating areas and large gazebo were so beautiful, this made the garden such a tranquil place to sit, and always a shady spot to be found. A couple of things that the house really needed were bedside lamps and one in the lounge, quite tricky trying to put the light on in the night via a fan remote control, and very bright which attracted bugs despite the bug screens. Also a shower caddy would be great.
We would highly recommend this property, and such a short walk to a fabulous beach.
The booking system is flawed unfortunately though. I booked on a Friday, I was told the request was not accepted as it times out 24 hours later. I rebooked the following day and the same happened. It was only through perseverance that we managed to book. The real estate agent is closed at the weekends so if you request to book on a weekend, then your request will time out and look like it’s been rejected. Someone really needs to monitor booking over the weekend.
Beautiful property in excellent location. Definitely a home best experienced by adults or older children. I took a toddler and was a bit on edge due to stairs and lovely styling. Also wasn’t aware that there is a permanent resident downstairs but she was really lovely and didn’t really notice.
