Ideal rental

Short 2 night stay in Lutsen, but we really enjoyed the convenience and amenities of the condo! Beds were comfortable, condo was nice and warm and the fireplace was so nice to come home to after a long day of skiing! We also really loved being able to bring our dog!

Summer Vacation

Easy, smooth check-in, good parking, beautiful area. Kids loved being so close to the pool, alpine slide, and gondola. Nice perk that the restaurant was so close.

Wonderful stay

The townhouse is spacious and well furnished. Every kitchen need was provided. There was an issue with water pressure in the downstairs bath. I reported it to the owner and am sure it will be taken care of for the next guests.We enjoyed our time there very much.

Won’t book again

My family and I visit Lutsen/Grand Marais area every year for the fall colors and our birthdays, so we absolutely love the surrounding area of the property. But that’s where the love ended. Though the owners were very kind, this specific property felt extremely outdated, many cracks in the ceiling/walls, stained carpet, very old bathrooms and TV, and the beds felt like sleeping on cardboard. It is a pretty penny for the lack of amenities inside the space. Obviously we spend most of our time outdoors when up here, but would be even more disappointed if that wasn’t the case. We will be looking for a different property next time.

Nice place

Everything was great except for the water pressure. Showers were pretty disappointing. I doubt the owners can do much about this, and I suspect all units at this resort are this way. The other bummer is you can't use the resorts shuttle in this unit.

Family of 7 getaway

We had a great time at this little property. We are a family of 7, so with 5 kids, it was a little small for us but we managed. We had a problem with the air conditioning not working. After a short text to the owner, we were back up and running. He was very quick to get back to us. There is a convenience store about 3 miles away, which had every thing you would need. Lutsen is a small, but beautiful town. Highly recommend stay for a smaller family.

Lutsen Stay

The check-in process was terrible. They want you to fill out a website page with the unit number and other information, but we never got a unit number and you could not submit the page without it. Had to call twice to get the information we needed. The location is great, and the unit is nice but in desperate need of updating. Wall paper, stained carpet, bathroom fixtures stained, and very poor heating in the lower bedroom - it was cold. Pictures can fool you. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do.

Nice place would stay again

A couple things, pictures make the place look large, not so much but laid out nicely. Toiletries were on the list but had to search for them. Also, would be nice to have a vacuum for cleaning up. Dishwasher was full when we arrived so had to put dishes away. A bit expensive for the space, but love Lutsen.

Wonderful Place!

Great Lutsen location. Space was perfect for our family, townhome was clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. We hiked right out the back door, over the river and up to the summit. My parents rented up at the lodge and we all enjoyed the pool and eating together using our full kitchen. Supper at Papa Charlie’s and the wine tasting is a must. We hope to be back! Thank you for sharing your place with us. Lutsen is pure magic.

Nice place to land

We spent most of our time enjoying the sights of the North Shore all the way to the Canadian border. It was nice to come back at the end of the day and enjoy the fire pit and make smores.

Caribou #528 was excellent

We had no problem finding our condo or good parking. The unit was clean and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the fireplace unit was appreciated. We liked having the 2.5 baths. The bedrooms were perfect. Keep up the good work. We plan to return.

Perfect Getaway
