Surround yourself with the tranquility and beauty of the forest. This adorable stand-alone studio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. You'll find a bedroom area, full bath, kitchenette, living space, and a nice workspace. Even a covered porch for some front porch sitting. The whole cottage is inviting with functionality and an artistic flair.

There are miles and miles of road biking right out your door. If you like off-road bicycling the Cable area has some of the best trails in the state. Nearby day trips include many waterfall hikes, Hayward, the quaint town of Bayfield, the Apostle Islands, Duluth's Canal Park, and Minnesota's North Shore. There are several area lakes for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Crystal Clear Lake Owen has picnic grounds and a beach area open to the public just 15 minutes away.

This cottage is truly a Little Gem that you will want to return to again and again.

PLEASE NOTE

Rate based on 2 people, this includes adults and children. There is a $30.00 charge per person per night, up to a maximum occupancy of 3 people.
Towels are not provided, please bring bath, swimming and kitchen towels.
There is a light blanket on the bed with fresh linens and pillows. If you prefer a heavier blanket, please bring one along with you.
Pets are allowed. $20 per pet per night maximum of 2 pets.
There are outside security cameras in use.

Comfy, convenient stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Little Gem. Very clean and comfy and well appointed. Our doggy enjoyed the stay, too. Happy doggy means happy humans!

Shower Stall

Both my wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Little Gem. Beautiful little cabin in the woods. We will definitely stay with you again. Just a heads up though the shower stall floor can get very slippery and both my wife and I slipped, did not fall. Just a heads up, wouldn't want anyone to get hurt. Unfortunately a lot of people now a days are sue happy.

Perfect Little Cottage

Very clean and cozy cottage.Has everything you need and nothing you don't need. Perfect for 2 for a shorter stay. Located 15 minutes from the Birkie start. I did the Fat Bike Birkie . Minutes from the small town of Cable, that has some nice places to eat and drink. The property is gorgeous. Lots of woods and only 1 neighbor. We'll be back

Everything you need in one room

The wife and I wanted a no distractions, relaxing weekend and we found it here. Very warm and comfy setting. Easy to find with food options only 7 minutes away. Might make this a regular trip.

Fall is a beautiful time to visit Little Gem in the North Woods!

A relaxing get away with all the amenities you need to enjoy time in the North Woods. Wonderful to find dog-friendly lodging in such a cozy space! Highly recommend.

Wonderful tiny house cabin

We had the most wonderful stay at Little Gem! It was so great to be able to bring our dogs and enjoy the North Woods. The property has everything you need and is new and lovingly decorated. We booked a second trip immediately!
