Runnymede Farm is a working hobby farm situated in the hills just 4km behind Lorne. This incredible property offers guests the complete privacy of a rural hideaway with the convenience of everything Lorne has to offer.
Entering your own private retreat, you will be greeted with a cottage garden and the relaxing sounds of the Lorne hinterland. The original 1970 ’s homestead is located on a private 120 acres of beautiful bush and green paddocks with absolutely no neighbours. Runnymede has been home to many local families, and that spirit and sense of family will engulf you as you walk through door.
To the rear of the home, a sizable country kitchen/dining area flows onto an alfresco area with BBQ and ample seating for the entire family. A sunken lounge boasts a wonderous floor to ceiling stone open fire place, smart TV, reading chairs and a view out to the impressive solar heated pool. The pool is surrounded by undulating green grass, towering local gums and rewarding glimpses of the ocean.
The master bedroom, featuring a wall of stone opens out onto a private ensuite complete with a built-in spa. The spa room itself is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows and allows guests the opportunity to soak away the day with a glass of wine surrounded by nature.
The second master with ensuite has views of the pool and surrounding bush. This bedroom also opens onto a deck perfect for sipping your morning cuppa whilst watching the kids run around enjoying the big open spaces.
A further 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and laundry can be found down the hall away from the hustle and bustle of the main living areas.
This beautiful property offers family and friends the opportunity to come together and relax surrounded by space & privacy. The perfect chance to get the kids off the devices and develop an appreciation for mother nature, out collecting free-range eggs for breakfast and picking veggies or herbs for dinner.
Spend mornings on the beach and afternoons by the pool. Take advantage of the hiking/mountain bike tracks that start right at your doorway. Walk the 2km track to the Lorne golf club and enjoy arvo sips before returning home to cook a BBQ.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.
All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.
