"Sunny Vacations Cottage" is sure to please your whole family, even the dogs! Newly remodeled and featuring updated furnishings, this one is going to go fast so make your plans today.

With 3 bedrooms and two baths, your family of 6 will be nicely accommodated. If you need plenty of parking, you'll find space for 4 cars here. Want to bring the boat, that's fine, although you might want to bring one less car!?! Got a couple of dogs, bring them down to enjoy the large back yard or take them on the beach when the town allows. It's just a quick stroll of 2 blocks to get to the ocean or the pier, so bring along your fishing gear and catch yourself some dinner.

At "Sunny Vacations Cottage", there are 2 Queen beds and 1 Full bed to rest your weary head, and a lovely screened porch to while away the evenings without fear of any mosquitos. High speed internet is complimentary, and you'll find Smart TVs with streaming by Chromecast in the bedrooms. There is also a DVD player if you want to bring along some favorite movies.

Great getaway at reasonable cost

Layout was perfect for our needs with our dog for a very pleasant weekend at the beach. Host was very quick on communication to answer our questions. Will stay again next time, only longer

Cute beach cottage rental

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a quiet little neighborhood. The house was very clean. It was perfect walking distance to the beach, eating and the pier. Everything else was a very short drive. My only complaint is some of the things that were listed to be available were not. There was no hairdryer,no spices or condiments, no laundry soap, no dish soap, only one dish towel , no extra trash bags, no extra pillow cases. Overall our stay was great and we would definitely rent this house again!

Kure Beach area stay

We loved staying at this rental we love to fish and it was a very short walk to the peir for fishing and to the beach , the rental was very nice for our family we were able to sit out back at the garage , we were also able to walk to a couple restaurants, we will definitely stay here again.

Great!

My family and I had a wonderful time. A very clean and updated house. We have 2 dogs and the place is pet friendly, I believe they had a good time as well. This house is close to the beach and the pier. Whether you like to fish or just set on the beach and listen to the waves, this is a great place. Enjoy your stay, we did.

Grate house , like being at home.

Excellent house old school feeling, very nice inside and out. Never went out back or in the garage area .Plenty of room. 2 blocks from the pire and Jack Mackerral restaurant .short drive to Fort Fisher to drive out on the beach to surf fish. Will do again. Thanks 😊

Sunny Vacation - didn’t disappoint

Good location

Only 2 short blocks from the beach. Clean, comfortable. Restaurants, convenience store and fishing pier within 2 blocks. The main large screen TV in the living room had cable. The TVs in the three bedrooms were not hooked to cable. You needed to download an app to watch those. There was plenty of parking. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely consider coming back.

Convenient stay

Excellent location, short, walk to restaurants and beach. The kids who were 10 could walk to the ice cream stand on their own. Very good floor plan , Good living space and eating space. It is nice for kids, nothing really to break. Loved The keyless entry, very easy for check-in and checkout. They have a very cool little wagon to bring stuff to the beach with, which makes it easy to just walk to the beach. It would’ve been nice to have a few more extras at the amenity department. There was only one soap for the dishwasher, no soap for the washing machine, only one washcloth and one towel for the kitchen. No cleaning products. No beach towels so bring your own. Due to coming from the West Coast, our plane flight came in late, and I asked the management company if we could change our date by one day, ( gave plenty of notice )but they said no. So we got in late on Monday, and the trash day was Tuesday, but we overslept, and the trash bins were full. I emailed the management company about this and they never got back to me. The fence in the backyard is coming down and might be dangerous for small kids.

Negative experience with property management company

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was great; convenient location, very clean house, nice yard and screened in porch. However, the experience with the property management company, Bryant Real Estate, was not. Forced to sign a lengthy rental agreement on top of the air bnb agreement and was threatened that they would cancel my reservation if not completed immediately (despite emailing the company to explain that I was working and would have it back within 72 hours, they still threatened to cancel). Hassled to provide my credit card information outside of my booking platform and was met with an attitude when I refused. Excessive emails, well over a dozen. Redundant check-in emails in various forms yet none of them were concise and easy to access, instead forcing you to login in to a webpage and search for the instructions or to download the company's app. Property rentals are expected to provide essentials (plates, kitchen utensils, towels). Toilet paper is an essential item and I expect more than one roll to be provided when renting a house for 6 people over an entire week. I would stay at this property again but I will never book with such a cheap and poorly managed property management company. Absolutely no effort in providing a positive guest experience.

Great Property but Property Manager is Terrible

I have never written a review like this. -Booking is clumsy at best - as two VRBO reviewers pointed out, a renter pays for and books the property and then is asked to sign an extensive and poorly deaigned contract where much of the same information is requested. So much wrong about this but the most serious aspect of this is that the renter can rightly think they are done when booking the "first time" and then not read future emails Demanding a signed in a thousand places contract needs to be signed to reserve the property. That I actually did read the "2nd booking" email was a small miracle as I wouldn't normally given my schedule and having assumed based on my vast experience w renting places that I was already done, as this is the case w most bookings. -Too many emails - so many darn emails. Just one of many examples. Sending me an email on Sunday at 3pm aftwr I checked out at the designated tine on Sunday at 10am about the trash being picked up on Monday. Seriously? The worst example but by no means the only one. Far too many emails sent in this process, far more than I have ever received. -Nobody there to speak to after you leave the office. This again is not consistent with my other renting experiences. To the owner....your place is great. We really enjoyed it. Ideally located, quiet and private. However, you might consider another Property Manager as these reviews will continue to be critical until you do.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Already submitted a review directly to the realty company that was hosting the property. Over priced for the condition of the house. Cleanliness upon arrival was poor. Paid additional $400 cleaning fee for 2 pets and house was dirty. Originally charged $200 then charged a second time for additional $200 after reservation. Lots of work necessary. Beds hard as a rock. Disappointed in the price for the service provided. Painted counter tops. Painted felt pads on the walls. Leaking shower. Couches / floors dirty upon arrival. Hair in / on the toilet seat / bowl. Water pressure low. Beds not made. Very unprofessional.
