Communication problems with property manager
WiFi password in info provided via email was wrong. With no cell service we had to drive 18 miles into Beaver to make a call to get the correct password. The manager was not readily available so we cooled our heals until she could be reached. In the meantime we bought candles to override the smell in the property. There was no info anywhere on how to turn on the fireplace/heater (hidden switch). When a circuit blew, we had great difficulty in tracking anyone down to help us find the switchbox. Aside from these problems the property was okay. We do not plan to return.

Family wedding.
We came for a family wedding. The place was awesome! Everything was nice, clean and accommodating. We did leave a note about the Keurig Coffee maker in the unit. Thanks for a great stay.

Weekend Getaway
Beautiful location. Great amenities. Easy check in/check out. We had a small issue with the cleaning service when we arrived but it didn't take away from the experience. Management did a great job resolving it. We can't wait to visit again

Great stay for eclipse viewing
We came to The Cottages in October to view the annular eclipse. The cottage was perfect for us. The setting is beautiful and fairly remote. The cottage was wonderfully clean, appointed with all we needed and was just what we wanted. The bed was so comfortable, there were 2 bathrooms (what a treat!) as well as washer and dryer, full kitchen, comfortable and functional furniture and it was pet friendly. Check in and out was easy. We had a truly great time hiking, viewing, eating and relaxing. Thank you for such a great stay.

Nice updated condo
We enjoyed staying here for many reasons, location to the lodge as well as to the skiing. Condo building is older, but this unit has been updated and we very much enjoyed the hardwood floors, WiFi and live streaming, and comfortable beds. The only issues we had with the unit was its overall cleanliness, as we found dust bunnies in every room, a dirty oven, and a dirty shower curtain. The location is great and within walking distance to the lodge, but the driveway is a bit steep so chains or 4wd is necessary if you’re caught in a two foot snow storm as we were. Overall we were very happy and will likely stay here again when we return to Eagle Point

Property is very close to the lodge and can snowboard to the run from the condo. The tv does not have cable as advertised, no local channels so couldn’t watch wildcard nfl games and weak Wi-Fi are my only complaints.

Beautiful location!
I would give this location 5 stars had it not been for the following:Water went out for about four hours which was a slight inconvenience but management took action quickly and got it resolved.Lots of dust under the beds which got our allergies going. No chairs available to sit outside our unit on the deck. (Will remember to bring our own next time.)No advertised Keurig, although there was a small coffee pot.Otherwise, the condo was beautiful as well as the surrounding area. The staff at the General Store, Bar and Grill were so friendly and helpful! Merchandise at the General Store was lacking so make sure you bring enough supplies or you will have to drive down to Beaver city. Puffer Lake was our go-to for fishing and kayaking as it was super close and very, very beautiful! We definitely would stay here again!

Power outages
The first night we tried to use the microwave and blew a breaker and the whole house got cold. Location no good for 2WD vehicles may get stuck.

Exterior maintenance is non-existent
While the condo is in decent shape inside ( it is missing a can opener of any kind, and the oven is in need of a cleaning, and the electric fireplace has no instructions so it will take you a while to get the hang of using the control panel on the wall), the property on the outside is not maintained well at all. There is a dog waste trash can right at the entrance that is overflowing with people's condo trash and it appears never gets emptied by any staff so you have to walk up to your door an pass by disgusting trash.. the parking lot is covered in ice, making walking up to the entryway treacherous, and there is a sloped snow covered & frozen path leading to the porch.. it really needs some salt and a bit of shoveling regularly and it would be so much easier to get to the condo's entryway.. Also, people let their dogs use the bathroom everywhere at the top of that entrway, so there is alot of dog waste all over the snow and ice leading to the condo... and the stairs and small outdoor community area is never shoveled or cleared in any way, so you can't use those stairs to access the ski in/out access point. Overall, if you're ok with the poorly maintained outdoor area, the condo is ok, but you might be better off looking for another location.

Great Cottage
This was such a great spot for a getaway. We went after the resort was closed so there really wasn't many people around which was nice. The space was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. (I do wish there were more containers for left over food and foil but that's something we need to bring whenever we stay somewhere.) The fireplace was a little tricky to start/stop but we ended up getting the hang of it. I loved there were games we could use and the couch was so incredibly comfortable!

Bad timing
Started feeling flu symptoms on the road to the property and it fully kicked in just as we arrived at the property (New Years Eve). Was fever stricken in bed throughout that entire night. Proceeded with checking out of the property the next day - one day early of our scheduled departure date. Messaged the host about a future credit for the missed day and was denied. Wish the host would have been more willing to work with us.

Beaver Retreat Exceeded Expectations!
This was such a great stay for us siblings to have a get-together. We were surrounded by nature: we saw many birds, deer, and cows and enjoyed the crisp, cool mountain air. We hiked Delano Peak, relaxed at the community firepit at night, and went out to the Mystic hot springs in nearby Monroe. The condo had everything we needed for cookware, and the cozy fireplace with TV in the living room set the right mood. We highly recommend this space; no need to wait for ski season to have a reason to come out here!

Great ski getaway!
Our apartment was clean and comfortable. The management company was friendly and responsive to my silly questions making sure we had everything we needed. The staff at the hill was 5 star, on and off duty! I highly recommend this place for a family getaway.

Close to the slopes
We had a great time during our stay over Christmas! Very comfortable and warm. Had nearly everything we needed to feel like we were at home. The property was well kept and the snow was constantly being plowed, shoveled or blowen. Met lots of great people! Thanks for a great vacation with lots of memories! Can't wait to come back.
