About this property

Historic 5 Bedroom Character Home with HOT TUB

Your family and friends will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located, absolutely stunning 2-story character home. Just a 3-minute walk to the University of Alberta, Transit center, and University Hospital. 10-minute walk to Whyte Avenue, or a 40-minute walk- or quick train/uber/drive/bike ride to downtown!

This historic 1930’s character home is located in the heart of the Garneau neighborhood, just steps away from the University of Alberta and Whyte Avenue, and a short bike/train/bus/Uber to the Edmonton Convention Centre, The Rogers Ice District, and Arena, City Hall, Canada Place, the Library, the Royal Alberta Museum, the Alberta Art Gallery, the Winspear Concert Hall, the Citadel Theatre, as well as some of the city's top restaurants, farmers markets, shopping, and the famous Edmonton River Valley.

The main floor has retained stunning architectural features including covered ceilings, gorgeous hardwood floors, and 3 ornamental fireplaces for that vintage charm. Features include wifi, a smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen stocked with coffee and tea, dishwasher, a washer & dryer, iron and ironing board, and fresh bedding and towels upon your arrival. Should you require maid service for your stay, that can also be arranged at an additional cost.

This is a smoke-free house with a secure pin pad entry.

Pets are welcome.

Other things to note:

Due to Covid-please clean dishes or run the dishwasher before departure. $25 extra cleaning fee if dishes are left dirty.

Early check-in and late check-out can often be accommodated for the price of $20.

Full disclosure: There is currently some road construction in the neighborhood. However, the street in front of the house is already done, and access to the property and the two parking stalls behind the house are fully accessible.
