Family trip

The cabin was great really nice place everything was clean , we didn’t have any problems checking in. The only problem I had was the neighbor we had the grill on around 7pm and we had music playing not to loud because we understand is not our house , the neighbor came over really rude threaten us to call the cops . I apologize to him and told him that I was going to keep the music inside instead and not too loud. But he keep being rude to me and my brother asking questions he didn’t had to be asking us and acting like he was a Police Officer . We didn’t have any party going on it was just family and like I said the music was really low . I understand we are renting but he sounded like he was being racist he kept saying that I was disrespecting him for having music outside and that this was his neighborhood. I don’t think I will be renting again because of him. This is not my first time renting a cabin I had never had any problems with neighbors being this rude and like I mentioned before we do respect is not our house so we always tried to be respectful . Overall I do thank the host for everything !

Cabin in the pines

The home was very nice with plenty of space for our family for our annual Memorial Day trip to Show Low. However, the refrigerator/freezer was not working correctly during our stay. This caused us to throw away food and was very inconvenient having to live out of a cooler and constantly buying ice. The management compensated us by allowing us to stay an extra day.

Family trip for new years

* I recommend this property. Our stay was very pleasant. It is very well located. The area is quiet and you can take advantage of nature. I can't complain. It was pleasant and the managers answered my questions. I recommend it 100 percent. I would return in the future honestly I would not put a mark on it but there is something so pleasant the amusement area that it has keeps the children entertained

Perfect Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our annual fall stay away from the valley heat in Show Low at Elk Haven! The cabin is the perfect size for our family of four, and was one of the best stocked cabins that we have stayed at! Puzzles, games, and horseshoes kept us busy all week long as we relaxed in the cool quiet neighborhood! Enjoyed nightly walks around the neighborhood and saw tons of wildlife. You really don't need to bring anything to enjoy your stay---even had fans in all of the rooms! We'll be back for sure.

Cabin was very nice but many things were over looked and needs to be replaced!

The cabin it self was very nice! When we first entered the cabin it was obvious that the kitchen and bathroom and bedding was clean and fresh but the floors are obviously neglected as a living room carpet had not been vacuumed and there were dead bugs and foot prints all over it and there were dirty spots on the kitchen floor! Luckily we aren’t germaphobes. The living room furniture I think it one point was very comfortable but it needs to be replaced as the rocker wouldn’t quit swiveling in circles, one seat on the couch you sank way down and the recliners did not work properly! Chairs on the patio, a couple of them we had to lean against the railing or they would tip over! Probably the biggest disappointment was that it said it was air-conditioned and that wasn’t entirely true! There was an air conditioning unit up in the loft but that was it and we had very uncomfortable sleeping the first part of the night, by morning it cooled down. Wewould rent the cabin again if some of those things were addressed but not until then!

Week in the pines

Rented for a week to get out of the valley heat and celebrate 4th of July. The house accommodated our family very well. Well equipped kitchen and game room. Close to town. Nice neighborhood. Living room furniture could use an update - cushions have failed. And master bedroom mattress - very uncomfortable and was covered in plastic mattress protector which made for a noisy and HOT sleeping experience. None of the other mattresses had the plastic cover so found it quite odd.

Beautiful Cabin

We had a wonderful time on our staycation, Easily located but still felt secluded and surrounded by forest, The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you could think of, just bring some food and yourselves, tons of games to play, my family really enjoyed the loft with pool table/ ping-pong and arcade. We also enjoyed being outside and the wonderful view from the deck , we made a Frisbee golf course in the woods and spent hours playing with our family. Don't hesitate to rent this cabin, fair price, great location, we'd definitely come back again.

Definitely Recommend!

We definitely recommend staying at this rental! We had great communication with the management company, it was clean and well taken care of. The neighborhood and property was beautiful! Loft upstairs with the pool table/ ping pong table kept the kids busy while the adults visited downstairs! Was glad to find a pack n play also since we forgot ours!

Great place to stay

Had such a great time here!! The cabin was immaculate with all the amenities of home, and the location was just amazing!! The loft with game room kept half of the family entertained while the others relaxed on the back porch taking in the picturesque views and enjoying the soothing sounds of nature!! Problems with a good recovery

We showed up at this location. The AC broke which was a problem when Show Low had 95 degree heat wave. However, she was able to find another rental near by that we could stay at and it turned out well.
