About this property

Le petit Chalet

Well-being, comfort and warmth in this "Small Chalet" dating from 1772 and located in a typically Savoyard hamlet. The choice of authenticity and the interest of the immediate proximity of the slopes.
Ideally located, 100 meters on foot from the start of the intermediate station of the Les Granges funicular, offering direct access to the Paradiski area and return on skis by the Bois du Saule, Les Granges or Violettes slopes.
Wood, stones and natural materials were favored in the total renovation of the chalet in 2012.
Chalet for 12 people, 120 m2 consisting of:
• a main duplex apartment (90 m2) with 4 bedrooms (8 people), 1 shower room, 1 bathroom, 1 pleasant and bright living room with glass frame. Wood stove. South-facing terrace. Clear view on valley and mountains.
• an independent 3-room apartment (40 m2), located on the ground floor, offering 2 bedrooms (4 people), 1 shower room with WC. Equipped also with a kitchen and a dining area, it allows total independence.

Knusse vakantiewoning. Wij verbleven er met 6 volwassen en 5 kinderen van 3 tot 12 jaar. Genoeg ruimte. Huisje op loopafstand van het treintje naar Arc 1600. Bij genoeg sneeuw kan je terug skiën naar het huisje.

A very enjoyable week
We had a great week at Le Petit Chalet. We were 2 families with 4 teenage children, and the size was ideal, with room to spare. The chalet is very well equipped, having everything you could need. And location wise it was great for us, but obviously it's a very quiet little hamlet, so it's not for the party animals! We had an issue with the boiler that was sorted over the phone. Just a matter of redistributing the wooden pellets. The wood burner is great though! One thing to mention is that the property is listed with a hot-tub, but there is no hot-tub, just a bath. Apart from that, all good! Thanks Christian!

Little Cottage, La Millerette, Bourg Saint Maurice
This is an excellent little chalet, literally next door to the funicular at 1250m. We were a party of 10 people and the facilities catered for all our needs. It was spacious enough for everyone and very well equipped in the kitchen department to cater for 10 people. The double bedrooms were a good size, not to make you feel too cramped. The bunk rooms were on the small side especially if you are intending on taking teenagers [16+] or young adults. These are tight on space! There a 2 parts to the Little Cottage; one main area, which includes the lounge, kitchen and terrace etc and then there is the annexe to Little Cottage. Please be aware there is no interconnecting access to the main chalet from the annex and you have to go outside and through a separate door. Ideal if persons in your party what privacy, not so good if you are wanting to socialise and feel connected with your group. We managed and on this occasion as it did suit our needs. All the beds were made up on arrival and we were met with a complimentary bottle of wine from the host, which was lovely. Be aware there are only 2 toilets within the whole complex and we felt there could have been an additional toilet in the main chalet as this catered for 8 people. One of the double bedrooms does have its own shower and sink but no toilet. Be aware there is no parking outside the chalet. Overall, the Little Cottage is excellent value for money and is in an ideal location. Highly recommended.

Sejour entres amis a la montagne dans ce superbe chalet
Nous avons passe un sejour d une semaine formidable entre amis 8 personnes le chalet est superbe sa situation est strategique avec une terrasse vue sur la montagne sud ouest, le funiculaire situe de l autre cote de la rue nous a permis de monter directement aux arcs 1600 en moins de 5 minutes. Pour les non skieurs, un chemin est accessible a moins de 10 minutes du chalet qui vous permet de monter vers les arcs 1600 dans la montagne depaysant 1h40 de marche dans la foret. Pour la logistique, le plein de courses peut se faire a bourg saint maurice situe a 15 km avant l arrivee au chalet cependant pour le fromage, la charcuterie et les produits du terroir il y a la cooperative a bourg saint maurice que je recommande vivement. Pour les skieurs, le domaine est exceptionnel il y en a pour tt le monde et les arcs 1800, les arcs 1950 et les arcs 2000 sont facilement accessibles en ski mais aussi en navettes gratuites pour les non skieurs. Nous remercions notre hote Christian qui a ete particulierement attentif et a notre ecoute bien qu il n etait pas present. En resume, chalet tres confortable, cosy bien situe, domaine skiable exceptionnel facile d acces avec le funiculaire mais aussi au pied des pistes si la meteo le permet puisque une piste rouge et une pisle bleu partent des arcs 1600 et arrivent a moins de 50 metres du chalet mais malheureusement pour nous cette semaine cela n a pas ete possible faute de neige a cette altitude.

Chalet très agréable
Au pied du funiculaire, facile d’accès en voiture et depuis la gare de Bourg-Saint-Maurice Pièce de vie très agréable et cuisine bien équipée pour 10 personnes Malheureusement pas assez de neige durant notre séjour pour redescendre au chalet en ski depuis la station Arc 1600. Mais le funiculaire reste tout de même une bonne alternative Je recommande vivement ce chalet !

We hebben een fijne week in de knusse gezellige chalet in les granges gehad. Je kunt gemakkelijk met de funiculaire les arcs 1600 bereiken. Er lag genoeg sneeuw waardoor we in de middag naar het chalet konden skien. Het contact met de verhuurder was perfect! Telefonisch altijd bereikbaar en complete informatie vooraf om je goed te kunnen voorbereiden. Enige minpunt waren de bedden met springveren. Als je dit oké vindt is het huis, de locatie en de prijs helemaal top!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au petit chalet. Les conditions étaient idéales pour profiter de la terrasse et de la station, et le chalet est très bien situé (juste à l'arrêt intermédiaire du funiculaire, en bas d'une piste). Il est également très bien équipé et Christian a été très réactif pour nous aider lorsque nécessaire. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Chalet chaleureux et convivial
Bonjour, Nous avons adoré le chalet. Il est chaleureux et convivial. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner se trouve sur place! De plus le chalet est situé avec quelques autres chalets typiques à 1300, ce qui nous a ravis car Les Arcs 1600 est très laid au niveau architectural! Il faut savoir que la dépendance n'est accessible que par l'extérieur du chalet principal ce qui ne nous a causé aucun problème mais ce qui est peut-être important à savoir si vous voulez y loger des petits enfants. La dépendance est très bien équipée également et les chambres y sont assez spacieuses avec un WC et une douche. Dans le chalet principal une des chambre est très petite et il n'y a qu'un seul WC mais il y a deux douches! Nous recommandons ce chalet aux familles ou à des amis pour un séjour fabuleux,...
