Golf Trip

6 guys came down for a few days of golf, plenty of room for all of us, the Dollar General was just a few minutes away and we were able to get all we needed. Really easy to get checked in and get parking passes. Had a great time

Excellent stay!

We had an excellent stay! This stand-alone beach cottage is located in a clean and quiet community. The cottage was also very clean and all of the mattresses, bedding, couch and furnishings appeared to be new. Loved all the space the collate provided. Especially the bunk room—had 6 grandchildren stay in there and they had an absolute blast. There were two other spacious rooms—one for me and my wife (with an attached bathroom) and a separate room for my daughter and her husband. The use of beach toys and other beach supplies were an unexpected and appreciated bonus! This place was top notch and we will be back again next year!

Great beach house!

The house was very clean and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Close to the beach. Loved that there was a gas grill, spices for our use and board games. Will be back!

Wonderful beach cottage!

Enjoyed our stay at this beach cottage. Peaceful surroundings in a quiet complex. Loved the spacious accommodations (especially the bunk room and screened in porch). Everything was clean and well maintained and I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation

The house is situated conveniently inside The Rookery. The grounds are nice and the neighbors are very friendly. The house is adorable with nice appliances, clean, nice sized bathrooms, and televisions in each room. The bunk room is fantastic for the kids and the host provides some basic beach must-haves like a wagon, chairs, sand toys which was really great. A couple of suggestions-it would be nice for there to be a list of things to do/restaurants in Fort Morgan since it is a little distance to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores and when they mention basics are provided, be prepared for very basic. There are plenty of dishes, but not a lot of pots, pans, or silverware if you have a family and plan on cooking. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Beautiful cottage!

Host was very friendly. Very clean and lots of room. Bunk room was amazing. Loved sitting on the huge patio in the mornings and evenings. More amenities than we were expecting (beach toys, board games, etc.). Couple minute drive to the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone (especially families with kids). Will be back for summer!

Cute and Comfy

The house was clean and cute! The master shower head leaks and gets the floor wet, and the AC froze up the 2nd day and we had to let it thaw out. The owner was a great communicator and quick to respond. My daughter left her squishmallow and she’s texted her housekeeper to see if it’s been located. Thankfully it has and I’m having it shipped to us! The drive to the beach is easy and close! We would def stay again!

Slice of paradise!

The house was a slice of paradise! Neighborhood was quiet with tropical colored houses. House was clean, comfortable, updated and had tons of room. So much better than staying at a condo or hotel because we could cook our meals and spread out. Screened in porch and bunk room were our favorites. Beach was a couple minute drive and was never crowded. Thanks to the host for a great property and great experience.

Overall Opinion

The home was secluded enough not too far from the beach. I didn’t like the fact it was for 10 people and not a big enough dining set to sit and eat as a family. The cleaning prior to getting there could have been better. The bunk bed sheets had to be cleaned before sleeping in it there were pee stains and a comforter had blood stains on it. I did let the property owner know of the findings. I would rent again for a smaller group but definitely not for a large family of 10

Fun Family Getaway

We came for a long weekend. The house was perfect for our 2 families. The kids enjoyed the pool and the drive to the public beach was quick and easy. The house was clean and tidy upon arrival. The AC did freeze up midway through our stay and we had to let it thaw out for a few hours and then turn it back down. The master bathroom shower head leaks a lot, I think tape around the shower head would fix that easily. It just sprays on the floor and makes the floor slippery. Aside from those minor issue, it was a great house and I would def rent it out again. We love Ft Morgan!

Amazing!

This house was amazing! All furniture and furnishings seem brand new. Very clean with lots of space for the whole family. There’s a master bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom, second bedroom with a queen bed, and the bunk room! Love the bunk room! The kids loved having their own space with an attached bathroom. Spacious screened patio for coffee in the morning or lounging at night. Every detail was thought of (beach toys and accessories, board games, spices in the kitchen, hangers, extra pillows and blankets, etc.). Parking is convenient right in front of the house. Love the neighborhood. It’s quiet, has 2 pools and you can even rent a golf cart during your stay. We will be back next year!

Can’t wait to come back!

Loved that the house was big enough for my whole family. Everything was new, very clean and comfortable. Loved all the extras like beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach toys for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed…even spices for cooking. The pools were clean and close to the house. The beach was close by and not crowded. Can’t say enough good things and we can’t wait to come back!

I stayed here with my husband, my sister, my kids, and my niece and nephew and there was plenty of room for everyone. The condo was super clean and spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home for the week. The bunk room was the kids’ favorite part of the house and the adults loved having a grill, their own bedrooms and a screened in porch for hanging out in the evenings. The kids loved the pools. The beach was close to the house and easy to find—and it wasn’t crowded at all. Love Fort Morgan’s laid back nature-like vibe. Will definitely come back again with everyone during Spring Break. Highly recommend!

This stand alone house is in a quiet neighborhood and provides you with all the comforts of home. The house was very clean and all of the rooms are spacious and furnished well. Can easily fit 2 families—parents in the 2 bedrooms (king and queen beds) and all the kids in the (awesome) bunk room (2 twins and 2 fulls)! There’s also a queen pull out sofa. Loved the well thought out extra items for our use during our stay such as spices in the kitchen, coloring books and crayons/colored pencils, a variety of card and board games, extra pillows and blankets, hair dryers and beach toys/chairs/umbrella/cart. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable!

This house was super clean, comfortable and everything appeared to be new—all the furniture, furnishings, bedding, mattresses, etc. Had every amenity you could ask for in the kitchen and for the beach. Close walk or drive to the beach. Close to Sassy Bass and Tacky Jacks for dinner or drinks. Close to Fort Morgan. Will definitely stay again!
