Located on the north side of the lake in Fawnskin, this charming home offers the most sought after views while staying close to everything Big Bear Valley has to offer. The lake is just down the street and within walking distance to Captains John's Marina boat rentals and just a short drive to North Shore Cafe, local Fawnskin shops and the Discovery Center and the Observatory. You are approximately 10 minutes to Snow Summit and 14 minutes from Bear Mountain. Enjoy nearby Big Bear Snow Play with the kids just 5 miles away and visit the Village shops and restaurants just 7 miles away. This getaway is convenient to everything while offering you a peaceful mountain atmosphere overlooking our beautiful lake and mountains.

4 bedrooms - 2 bathrooms + A Den/Game Room Area
As you enter the home on the main level there are 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, a den/game room area and an entry way for sleeping. The 1st and 2nd bedroom each offer a queen size bed, the den has a queen sleeper sofa, foosball table, 32" Smart TV and the entry way has a twin sleeper sofa. This will sleep up to 6 or 7 people. There is also a full size bathroom on this level. Upstairs are the other 2 bedrooms, which includes the master bedroom which has a king size bed, 32" Smart TV, and a jack and jill bathroom, with jacuzzi tub that is shared with the 4th bedroom, which offers a queen size bed (sleeping for 4 upstairs).

Just off the living room is the fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Everything you need to make a family dinner.

Big bear overnight

Really charming cabin— lots of space ! And many amenities … so much in kitchen Towels galore !!! Hot water … we will come back in the winter !

Awesome space with a great view

We hung out on the balcony, bbq'd, and enjoyed the view! It really was fantastic!! Cailey was so super welcoming and made the check in and check out process smooth, and answered all questions! For the space and the view it was pretty great the only drawbacks we had was it being on the other side of Big Bear Lake City center so if we wanted to go dine or go to the market we had to go through curvy roads again. The other thing was the rule about bringing trash back to the office dumpster which is located back on the Big Bear side, we would have liked to leave the trash there, but hey rules are rules. Other than that was a great stay and would definitely want to plan more trips out there!!

Great house with fantastic views

We had a great time and overall very happy with our choice. Views and location are unbeatable. The kitchen was better stocked than anywhere I've stayed. There was pretty much everything you can need. To be 10 out of 10 I'd improve these: MOP the hardwood floors after renters- you cannot walk barefoot unless you don't mind very dirty feet. Dust the surfaces! Fan blades have not been dusted in years, neither are any of the windowsills, or less used areas. I'd also remove the cobwebs from around the patio and awning, occasionally... One other minus was that the dishes in the cupboards were put there entirely greasy and smelly, they weren't washed at all, just wiped and put away, probably by previous renters who wanted to look like they cleaned the dishes. I would check them every time, if I was managing the place- for obvious health and safety reasons! Also, a trash truck passed the front door while we were there. I don’t know why there is no trash service for the house. I would think this can easily be paid with all the money the house makes, instead of having to drive 5,5 miles and back to dump your trash. Not very environmentally friendly when a big dump truck is already servicing the paying houses in the area.

Wonderful Big Bear vacation home!!

Had a wonderful stay here! Awesome vacation home! Fully stocked, spacious, clean, with plenty of amenities and stuff to do! Beautiful view from the deck. Close to stores, lake, hikes, etc. A++++

Nice place exactly what shows on the pictures.

Perfect views and convenience to the lake , easy access all around the town , clean and well accommodated place , I would definitely return but this time I would come in summer what I saw perfect get away .

The view of lake

Rooms and bathrooms were nice. They have these speaker boxes threw out the house and rooms to talk to each other upstairs and downstairs. Very big space if you going with big group. You spend most your time upstairs cause the kitchen, pool table, large family couch, bar, tv, etc. we had a good time and would stay again.

This house was amazing 👏 we enjoyed all the amenities provided. The view was beautiful and it was a welcomed getaway after 2020. We will definitely be renting here again...possibly a summer getaway!!

Great escape from the City

Everything about the rental went smoothly. THe house looks just like the photos and is very conducive to safe gathering while remaining socially distant. Snow Summit is about 10 minutes away , so this is a convenient location for skiers/snowboarders, too!
