February getaway

Not many light bulbs worked and Flies were a problem. It was cold so we lit the fire but there wasn’t much firewood. Location was brilliant, would stay again as great for a family

Perfect

This property was perfect for our group of 7. Everyone had a bed and there was plenty of space to hang out together either indoors or outdoors. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It is part of a shared driveway but there was enough space to park 4 cars right at the doorstep.

Wedding base

The location was great, the property manager was very responsive and it met our needs. We would have liked to give an overall rating of excellent but there were a number of maintenence issues and the cleanliness of the property was not up to scratch. When these issues were raised with the property manager she was very quick to respond and we were recompensed for the inconvenience we encountered.

Weekend Away

We were a group of stitching ladies and found the place very light and comfortable to work in. Very dissappointed though to find no fire wood available so had to buy some otherwise it was too cold to sit and stitch in the lounge. No other heating available in the lounge. Kitchen was adequately stocked but could do with a 'spring clean' and the oven requires some maintenance and a clean. Bedrooms warm and comfortable.

Girls weekend

The house was clean and close to the square. Check in communication with the managers was effortless. The layout wasn't ideal for a girls weekend, with the kitchen the opposite side of the house from the lounge. The kitchen wasn't well stocked with cooking necessities & the house lacked the little added extras of other places, like mirrors and light bulbs.

Renovated house in excellent location

Lovely large renovated house in excellent location. Very clean and well appointed. Much bigger than it looks in the photos. Would recommend for a family group, not so much for people wanting ro be loud as you are down a battleax so you are very close to neighbours.
