We are just back from a glorious few days at Franco's property on Winnipesaukee. The house is very comfortable and the location can't be beat. We loved the quiet inlet and spent most of our time paddling on the water. It was a perfect family getaway. We will be back!
Very nice. I need to contact the owners as I believe I left my leather coat and a few sweaters hanging in the closet. Please can I.have their contact number so I can reach out to them. Thank you.
This is our 2nd year staying here. The 2 living areas is perfect for our multi generational family. The beach is sandy and great for the kids. Great quiet location for using the provided kayaks. Our host, Franco is very responsive and easy to work with. We will be back!
Beautiful Lake Front property, beach good for swimming and nice boat dock with good depth for 21 ft boat. Stayed with children and grandchildren, all had nice time enjoying beach, fishing off dock, using kayaks and canoe and s'mores by fire at night, etc. House is very well equipped and spacious with 2 levels, 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Owner very responsive and accommodating. Only potential downside is that there are several steps to go down to the beach which was not a problem for us.
First, I have to say the owner, Franco, was an absolute gentleman. He got right back to me immediately with any question I had. The upstairs kitchen has been updated, and it’s up to modern standards. The downstairs space was perfect for my daughter, her husband and their baby. The pack and play fit well in the bedroom. All upstairs bedrooms were just right, air conditioners in all rooms. We ate as a family in the 3 season porch. We used the canoe and the two kayaks. Our dog crates fit in the living room, and the loop along toltec road was a great little walk for them a few times a day. The place was nice and clean when we got there. Weber grill outside, and 4 secured trash barrels at the entrance of driveway. It’s. Nice shady spot along the beachfront. It was a really nice getaway for our family. Thank you Franco!

This property needs better attention from its owner. I don’t know if they live in the area but they need someone to check on this place and make sure the cleaning crew are doing their job because they are not. They did not remove food from the previous tenant. The floors were filthy and covered with hair. The furnishings were dirty and stained including blood in urine stains on the mattress covers. The toaster oven looked like it had never been cleaned. As I told the owner, I don’t care for places old, Dated, or even tacky. But it needs to be clean.
My husband and our 2 children along with my brother and my nephew stayed for a week. The setup was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the private beach and quiet area. My dog also loved swimming here and the dirt rode was perfect for taking her on walks. We ate all of our meals the screened deck. Franco responded quickly to any questions I had and was a great host! Thank you for sharing your property with us.
We have previously stayed at this property and have been very happy staying here. Host is wonderful, nice private beach, location is great, and house is very spacious for 8 of us. We all have a great time. Plan to stay again in the future.
My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed our working vacation at this location. The location is lovely … very quiet cove, perfect for evening bonfires and daytime swimming/kayaking. The Internet handles my husband working from home and my daughter’s homeschooling at the same time and without interruption.
This property has plenty of space and two living spaces for late night and early people to separate. Our 15 month old baby girl loved the extra toys and books left for our use. The sandy beach and shallow water was perfect for her and us to relax. The house is outdated but was fine for what we needed, except the kitchen had little working surface. Both my parents came and are slightly immobile and the walk down to the beach is rather steep but they managed. The cove is a dream to be on to relax and enjoy the kayaks with little wake. The best view is from the dock! The bed we slept on wasn't the most comfortable but we only stayed a few nights. Overall we loved it and would consider coming again next year! SO nice that our dog was allowed. He lived in the water. And Franco was an amazing host. Would highly recommend.
When we first arrived, the house was a bit of a mess. The cleaning people had not been there. We contacted the Host who was very responsive. Once this issue was handled. Everything else was wonderful. House is very nice, lots of space. Beach was great, loved Having afternoon sun. Having the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat there added to our fun, Looking forward to returning next year!
We had a wonderful week in this ideal location.
Beautiful spot on the lake.
Cottage was well equipped with whatever you need.
Perfect family spot.
Thanks for sharing your piece of Heaven.
This home is lovely and spacious. Well stocked with everything you need. We especially loved the screened in deck and open deck next to it in the evenings. They have a great fire pit right on the beautiful and big beach with an easy shallow and Sandy entry. The water toys were fun and the dogs were in heaven. My point, great vacation, great beach and house.
We had a great time. The house was spacious so nobody stepped on anyone’s toes. Kitchen had just about any utensil you could need. We loved the porch setup so we could always eat outside. Enjoyed the kayaks. The dog was in heaven.
This property is a great location for a family summer vacation. The house is steps from a sandy beach with a beautiful mountain backdrop with gorgeous sunsets. We made great use of the two kayaks, canoe and paddle boat, including quick trips to the nearby jumping rocks. You won't find many beach-type properties on the lake, so this is a little gem. The property owner (Franco) was absolutely great to work with. We would stay again.

We had six adults and an 18 month old and we enjoyed the sandy beach and a gradual entry into the lake with a sandy bottom. We fished off the dock, paddle boarded & kayaked on the calm early morning water. We chose not to dock our rented boat at the house because we were told Hanson’s cove is a bit rocky if you are not familiar with the lake, so we kept the rented boat at Trexlers Marina about a 10 minutes drive. Great fire pit on beach.
Lower level accommodations not what we had hoped.
Any issues we had with the house, Franco was quick to resolve.
We were looking for privacy, tranquility, a connection with nature, nearby opportunities for site-seeing. and accessible eateries and shopping of all kinds. This place offered all of that and more. The owner was extremely accommodating and responded very quickly if we needed anything. The house was very comfortable and adequate for our family of eight. We hated to leave!
Great Beach House- great location! Had a wonderful time, even saw some deer on the road while walking our dog! A very peaceful place for a vacation- would highly recommend!
I had an excellent vacation at this property. Franco was very nice and responsive. The place is amazing, I really enjoyed the private beach and the really nice leather couch. The place has great amenities and space to have fun and relax. I would stay again.
