Nice location with good accommodations

All went well. The heating systems were a bit confusing at first but we figured it out. Some of the seating in the dining area needs attention… loose screws cause wobbly chairs!

Good house

Very good house not far from all the waterparks and Ski activities. The only complaints I would have is the Heating is not good in the house. We had to use some portable heaters that were provided. We just burned them all night and also light the oven and open the door to get the heat. The other issue was the snow wasnt shoveled plus it froze so it was slillery and hazardous to get in from the driveway. Apart from that it was a good stay.

Good Stay, Bring Towels!

We had a nice stay overall. Our biggest complaint was that the listing said towels were included, however when we got there, there was only hand towels. After reaching out to the owner, they apologized (but it still didn't get us any towels, which was very disappointing after working all day/packing/traveling with 3 small children and all we wanted was a shower!). There was plenty of utensils, plates, bowls, etc., but there could have been more pots and pans. The location was nice, as it had a playground around the corner, and it was about 20 min. to Camelback. I thought the layout of the house was great - 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on each level, which worked well with our 2 families staying there. There was a cool game room in the garage too - unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it because it was cold, but it would have been a lot of fun in warmer weather. Going forward, I will ALWAYS confirm beforehand whether or not towels/sheets/linens are included, regardless of what the listing says.

Beautiful home; magical yard

Our adult children live in Philadelphia and we live in Albany. It was the perfect place in between. The home was well equipped with cooking supplies, appliances, games, comfortable furniture and 3 Very large televisions. The yard was spectacular. 2-tier deck, campfire with wood set up & seating. Fully fenced & private, part shaded & part sunny. Nicely landscaped. Basketball hoop, badminton set, football & more. 4 bedrooms; two full bathrooms. Great pierogi place nearby as well as groceries, CVS, ALDIs.

Great location, property and host

We were impressed with the location, located closely to shopping, skiing, water parks, etc. The house was clean, and met our expectations for a large group of 10 with 6 cars. The management team were communicative and extended our checkout without us asking. We enjoyed our stay, and this property.

Great Stay for the Price and Close to Everything!

This stay was just what we needed for our busy cheer weekend. The owner was extremely available and communicated great! We had 3 adults, 2 children, and a baby. I do wish I would have brought more towels and wash rags because we could only find 4 towels and no wash rags, but it was fine! Temperature indoors was great and adjusting the temperature was easy to use! Plenty of light at night! We all felt extremely safe! House is 15 minutes from anywhere you want to go and less then 3 minutes from Kalahari!

Great weekend away!

We had such a nice, relaxing weekend at this property! Great amount of space for 2 families and very clean. The owner was very helpful and responsive to my questions prior to the trip. We will hopefully be returning in the near future for a quick getaway!

Plumbing is absolutely horrible

We got there for a family vacation, just a short weekend trip to celebrate a birthday in the mountains and have a relaxing trip. When we first got there, we noticed the toilet downstairs didn’t flush properly, by 8:30-9pm, we are cleaning up the bathroom because the toilet was overflowing. We contacted the owner let him know we couldn’t use the other bathroom or any water in the house because it would just gush out of the toilet downstairs, he said he tried to get someone to come out but the only people that could wouldn’t be able to come out until 9-10am the next morning. He then called back later and said he decided to pay the emergency fee and someone would be to us by 11-11:15pm. He calls back around 11 and says they got into an accident and we’d have to wait for the other guys that were going to be out in the morning. Meanwhile, we had to run to Walmart and other places for 12+ hours to just use the bathroom and brush our teeth. When the plumbers got there, they mentioned that they have been to this house previously for similar issues and have recommended re-doing the piping and the owner decided against it. After the plumbers left, everything was working well until right before we left, we used the bathroom downstairs and the toilet started overflowing again. Aside from the plumbing issues, it was a nice place but I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you don’t mind driving elsewhere to use the bathroom so that it doesn’t back up into the house.

Book it!

My husband and I headed to the Poconos a few days before my family arrived for Kalahari, the house was prime location to get to the water park/ Jim Thorpe/ Stroudsburg etc. our dog absolutely loved the back yard and my niece and nephew had so much fun with the games located within the house. My husband and I agreed that this is the first vacation we’ve had in quite some time where we actually weren’t ready to come home. I highly recommend drinking your morning coffee in the backyard and just listening to the birds chirp and the deer walk the woods. Perfect place to relax while still being so close to everything. We will 100% be back.

Perfect place for a Pocono getaway!

We recently booked this listing for a bachelor party (group of 10 guys). The area was perfect for our group because of the proximity to the different places we planned on going (axe throwing, breweries, casino…). Less than 10 minutes from everything. Before our stay, I was able to connect with the owner over the phone and he answered all of our questions to help us prepare for our stay. He also took the time to send us suggestions for restaurants and other things to do in the area. We had a few questions about the property during our stay and we were able to connect with the owner quickly through texts to get assistance. The house was clean and comfortable. Lots of space for hanging out inside and plenty of sleeping space. The foosball table, air hockey table, and other indoor gaming amenities were great perks. The back decks and backyard were perfect for hanging out with our group. We were able to use the fire pit as well which was a nice bonus. I’m sure this place would have been even better during the summer especially with the lake being a quick walk away. We will definitely keep this place in mind for any future trips to the poconos!

Great Poconos getaway!

This is a great place to get away. The property is very well taken care of, the house is morern and well set up, and the owners are super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!
