The King bed lifts up into the ceiling leaving a lovely seating area with a TV. The table converts into a small single bed if needed. Our subdivision is lucky to have a communal water hole. It is on private property so it is a lovely spot to cool off. There is a covered verandah and it is in a peaceful setting.

Excellent host and very awesome accommodations. About 20-25 minutes away from our cave adventure. Perfect compared to trying to drive back to a major city!

This is a real gem. A little cottage in the country well clear of the popular tourist spots. Actually, we chose this location as it is handy to both Raglan and Kawhia, and it would also be handy for trampers heading for Pirongia. But the cottage itself is wonderfully quiet. It is small but everything is there; we cooked, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was able to be raised and lowered flawlessly - you do need to follow the instructions exactly, and if you do it works fine. The shower was fine for me, but larger people (Jonah Lomu type) may find it a bit of a squeeze. We didn't get a chance to swim in the nearby waterhole. We liked sitting outside on the desk and watching the quails and Spotted Dove and other birds flying around. It is walking distance to Pirongia town, where there is the Persimmon Cafe which serves up generous scoops of ice cream. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous tiny house with excellent kitchen facilities. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and not far from great mountain biking park and tramping. Suzanne was lovely to deal with.
This tiny house was thoughtfully crafted by the owners, and it shows. I loved the experience of having all I need for my little family in just the right amount of space. Gordon was very friendly, and the community is really lovely.
My husband and I stayed here so we could see the glow worms in Waitomo which was about a 25-30 min drive. This place is in a quiet little neighborhood and is represented accurately online. The private community waterhole was so beautiful and peaceful, and the house has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would certainly stay here again if in the area!

Suzanne was a lovely host, so kind and helpful. The Tiny Home is a custom house, with everything that we needed. The woodwork was very nicely done.
Was a great little place quiet and beautiful surroundings, the owners were warm and welcoming, and Suzanne showed how to get the comfy bed down.
It is a very well equipped home with everything and more we didn't lack for anything.
The recommended walk to the waterfall was well worth it and such beautiful surroundings.
We will be back for another weekend break.
Stayed here over the new year with my partner and couldn’t have had it any better - a nice cottage with everything you need, a perfect place away from the city. Will definitely be back soon if it’s available on a more sunny day :)
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful tiny home. It was very clean and had all the amenities advertised. The place was so well thought out and on a lovely property which was really peaceful. Such a great spot for a get-away!
The hosts were extremely welcoming and generous. Their beautiful home was a very welcome retreat after a wet and muddy slog down Mt. Pirongia. It was especially handy to have a washing machine and hose for our dirty gear. Would very highly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back.

Tiny Cottage a Tiny Gem
Beautifully and imaginatively kitted out, with extraordinary big bed that raises up to the ceiling.
Every nook & cranny thought about.
Be mindful that the bathroom is very tiny.
Rained heavily so another visit in the sun would be grand.

We are a retired couple. We built this tiny home to live in while we rebuilt a new home. We changed out minds and now have this cute little cottage to use as a holiday home. Gordon is very involved in youth development sailing out at lake Ngaroto and I still coach netball. We have grandchildren that visit a lot and we have two cats.
Why they chose this property
This small cottage has everything in it for a couple to holiday in. It is in a quiet area. It is on our back section so not far away if you need anything.
What makes this property unique
Close to Mount Pirongia for mountain walks or mountain biking. We have a small communal water hole for cooling off. A small village 5 mins away for any necessities. We are on the highway if you want to go south to Otorohanga kiwihouse, about 20 mins. We are 40 mins from Waitomo Caves and then on down to New Plymouth and the Central Plateau. Go North to Hamilton or Auckland. We are 30 minutes away from Hamilton. Great shopping at the base in Hamilton. Lake Karapiro is only 30 mins away.
