Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Evi started her days as a school bus in 1963 but now she is a one bedroom house bus on a lovely lifestyle block in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Be in the heart of the countryside with 25 acres to roam, sheep, pigs, and ducks to watch, lots of birdlife, and a river to enjoy and take a dip. Then drive just 10 mins to Kerikeri or 14 mins to Paihia to explore the sights, shops, cafes and restaurants.

An old school bus in a paddock.
We arrived late due to airline delays. The host greeted us on arrival. It was bitterly cold and we were looking forward to a hot shower to warm us up, bbut the shower kept going from too hot to too cold. It was not nice at all We got into bed but still shivered all night. In the morning I informed the host that we couldn't do that any mo,as we are both in our 70s. We were told that we could have asked for a heater to be brought in, but it was already after 10PM when we got into bed. We w

A perfect getaway
We loved everything about our stay in Evi. It was so quaint and yet fully functional and totally comfortable. It was very convenient to Paihia, Waitangi and Kerikeri, so was an excellent base to do all we wanted and yet felt separate and peaceful away from the busy centres. Thank you Andrea for helping us make great memories on our holiday.

It was a great and peaceful stay. Very nice hosts. We really liked that we could walk to the river at the back of the property to take the dog for a swim. Close enough to shops and beaches.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Evi. Lovely location and friendly hosts who went out of their way to make sure our stay was a great experience. The wee Christmas tree and decorations were a lovely touch as was the chocolates left for us on arrival.

Lovely farm just outside of Kerikeri- it was so cozy and fun staying on this beautiful little farm. Andrea was welcoming and made sure were well taken care of.

Evi was just perfect for our overnight stay - close to the event venue that we were competing at. The hosts were really lovely and Bruno the dog was a real sweetheart. Lovely views across the farm and everything we needed for our stay. Thanks - this stay will be a special memory for a long time.

Relax and unwind on a farmlet
We had a fabulous stay with our medium size dog accompanying us. A short drive to either Paihia , Kerikeri or other towns made it a great central location. The owners were awesome to communicate with and very helpful. We enjoyed the walk around the farmlet and paddled in the stream. Evie was well set up and a great space for us to live in Highly recommend this great getaway

We had a great stay, Evi is very cool and well set up. Great spot for exploring Paihia and Kerikeri and we enjoyed visiting the river on the property, our dog LOVED splashing around down there

This quaint little bus is a must stay! The bus was tidy and lovely and felt very private. The owner was really friendly and the communication before we got there was excellent. We had everything we need. We would highly recommend Evie to anyone wanting a sweet and relaxing retreat in unique accommodation!

Magical getaway
Super cute and amazingly equipped housebus. Everything we expected and more. Wonderful friendly hosts. Booking and check in - a breeze. Lovely wander through the paddocks to the river. Amazing sunrise and sunset. Easy drive to Paihia and Kerikeri. Recommend a trip for lunch to the Ake Ake vineyard and the Plough and Feather. Highly recommend and would love to return someday. Thank you Evi for a beautiful stay.
