Per the website www.townoflakelure.com: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

No Pets, No Exceptions

Lake Therapy was completely rebuilt in 2013; the design was forward-thinking (on par with today’s highest standards), and careful, expert attention to detail is evident throughout.

The main level's open floor plan features a gorgeous chef’s kitchen with seating for six at the oversized island and a family-sized table to seat six more. This kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, wine cooler, two sinks, and designer lighting (also found throughout the rest of this beautiful home). You’ll love cooking and entertaining here!

Consistent solid-surface flooring adds to the cozy, modern farmhouse vibe. The "cozy" continues in front of the lovely fireplace in the living room and the adjoining large nook with a lake view. This is the spot that begs you to unwind and enjoy the lasting moment!

The main level includes a king bedroom and full bath with two access points, allowing it to also serve as the main bathroom on this level. Downstairs, two bedrooms--one king, one queen--share a full bath. All are spacious, with HGTV-worthy updates, and the tray ceilings in the bedrooms are sure to impress!

How about those Views? In a word: WOW!

Windows everywhere yield spectacular views of the trees, the lake, and Chimney Rock. You’ll stop and stare from nearly every room! Outside, upper and lower decks surrounding the house are great vantage points for more oohing and aahing at the glorious natural bounty.

The boathouse has a large upper deck on the lake that will add even more enjoyment! NOTE: (boathouse shared with one neighbor)

Venture out and about to the town of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock Village, and Chimney Rock State Park. Great eateries, shopping, and abundant natural treasures await. Less than an hour away is Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. Enjoy a leisurely, stunningly scenic drive along one of the country's most beautiful stretches of roadway, the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This property has a small parking capacity, but there’s no doubt that Lake Therapy will deliver on every component of your most desirable escape!

Wonderful Outdoor Spaces
If you want to get a little closer to nature, the door to the deck is to the right of the bank of windows. This is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning beverage or relax from the full afternoon sun. If you prefer the sun, the spacious deck offers plenty of options. Relax on the dock or the deck atop the boathouse. There is also a canoe and paddleboard for guest use.

Perfect Every Season
This home can be enjoyed throughout the year with the area's temperate climate and beauty. Springtime brings the blooming of the dogwood and redbud trees as well as the azaleas, rhododendrons, and mountain laurels. Summer brings lush greenery, and the autumn colors are extraordinary. Autumn's red and gold hues are breathtaking; the region is known for its fall colors. Winters are mild, and with less tree obstruction, the views are incredible.

You are welcome to bring a boat (town permit required) to tie to the dock. Also, bring water toys for the children (or young at heart).

Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.

Pets are not allowed in this home or on the property.
Parking for two (2) vehicles.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time (or anytime later).
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time (or anytime earlier).
