We followed the directions and travelled down the road/track over the creeks etc., a lovely drive, don't be dismayed, it is at the end of the road where you will find the Black Electric Gate. Open it and drive up the very steep hill to the parking area, well worth the climb, the view is great.
Entering your cabin overlooking the deck you are greeted by your host.
Before eating our takeaway dinner our host entreated us to choose our breakfast menu.
I indulged, I am so glad it did, it was magnificent.
As the sun set we took in the vista of the opposite hills, just lovely.
After tea we listened to the proposed future cheese making developments for the property, while sipping a glass of wine and learning the finer points of cheese making.
The garden and the wild life are luxuriant and its construction on the side of a very steep hill is just breath taking with the private sitting areas distributed around and above the garden.
In the morning we took a walk up to the top of the hill where the original farm house still exists.
Good exercise, a bit too healthy for me!
This is a B & B we would love to return to, staying for a much longer period than our overnight stay would allow.
So, So quiet and peaceful.
Our host most hospitable and entertaining and alway able to add some interesting fact or observation we may not have been aware of.
Finally, if you want an enjoyably relaxing stay in this area, you will be "hard pressed" to find a better venue.
