Great Getaway

We loved this property and were so comfortable during our stay. The beds were big and comfy, the house was very clean, and it felt spacious for our family of five. My kids especially liked the big bathtub and exploring around the outside of the house. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very private with all the trees around. The food in the village was really good and there was plenty to do nearby. We had a great little family trip!

A bit small for six adults. Think a shower would be a better option in the shared bath up stairs but it was a beautiful tub. Very pleasant stay. Maybe and some wine glasses.

Property looks good online. Doesn't Smell Good. NIGHTMARE x 2!

Our first stay at Forest Drive was in June from the 14th-18th. The smell from the septic tank was horrible. Truly vulgar. My husband and I had headaches and it was hard to eat meals with the foul aroma. We tried to be off property as much as possible. However, any time we did return to the cabin we had to manage breathing through our mouths vs our nose. This was the FIRST STAY! I sent an email to Mary (on-site contact for the property). I informed her of the terrible smell that we endured from June 14-18. She advised that she was sending a plumber out to check it as we also booked a family vacation over the 4th of July and wanted the smell to be taken care of before we returned. She told us that the plumber found nothing wrong at the property. I was hoping they fixed it and just didn’t want to admit that something was terribly wrong. I also didn’t want to cancel my upcoming reservation in July because by the time we found out about the septic smell issues, the cabins we could have rented in lieu of Forest Drive were already booked and the cabins that were available were so much more expensive. Our second stay over the 4th of July, the vulgar smell was still present. Trash, cigarette butts and a full dishwasher greeted us. Plumbers showed on our departure date and had to the code to enter the cabin unannounced. They said we were supposed to be gone. Evolve - the property manager was so difficult. We did get a refund for our second stay, not 1st stay.

Dreadful Experience

We have never written a bad review for a rental. Have always given 5 stars! I feel as though I should warn ya'll that we had the most TERRIBLE experience with the guest services lady, Mary, and the home owner took no responsibility for having a listing promising there was a washer and dryer, when there was not. I will go as far to say Mary at guest services was verbally abusive to us. We were so excited for our rental. As an active army family, we don't get to vacation much or get to see our family often, so we were more than excited to get to this home and spend time with our family. We were excited to wash our clothes as we had travelled for a week to get to this home. I made sure before booking that there was a washer and dryer as it would be needed. We unpack, and there is a sign saying out of order on the washer. Their "help" was to first gaslight and say there is no washer and dryer available to guests. We explained that it was pictured and on the amenity section of the listing. They then said that someone washed a fur cost it in and the owner decided to no longer supply it. That sucks, but it's not our problem. You have to follow evolves 4 core property standards, one of them being listing and pictures being truthful. They did say they will take it off the listing for future people, they haven't taken it off, not surprised. After talking with Evolve, they wanted to give Mary and owner the opportunity to make it right by us, that's where the nasty/verbally abusive classless Mary stepped in. Though, thanks to evolves help we ended up in a beautiful, cared for home, this was an experience we will remember forever. I do not recommend booking. This home could be a decent place to stay IF the owner/guest services lady were different people.

Great location ~ wonderful stay

Home is better than pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Loved that there was one bedroom on the main floor with minimal stairs to access that level. Great location just a short drive to the village. Had no issues during our stay but Mary was super helpful after our departure with locating and shipping an item that we left behind. So appreciated!

Good location between Zion and Bryce parks. Washer out of order. Management aware. Decision not to repair due to renters using bleach which messes up system.
