Horrible communication

The stay was fine but afterwards my husband left his wedding ring on the nightstand which fell under the bed at some point. He forgot to grab it the next morning. After check out I messaged the Evolve company, the only contact available, and did not get any kind of response until a week later. Then it was a half hearted “oh we are sorry we will look into it.” Never heard from them again. Terrible customer service.

Weekend stay

Nice renovation with all the basics. Listing and reviews accurate. Dock in good shape but path is only for people with good mobility. Trailer behind this house is literally a few feet from the lower deck but no one was there during our trip. Upper deck is a great spot for a morning cup of coffee.

Cozy and Comfortable

This home was good for a short stay! The furniture was comfortable and it was clean. The neighbors by the back patio are very close. I could probably have touched them with a broom. You can kind of see the trailer next to it in the photos, but it made relaxing on the back patio a little bit awkward for us. We were also not able to watch tv because the connection was so spotty. They had a Roku TV, but it wouldn’t connect. If you’re going to relax and get away from all of that it’s great- we were just wanting to watch a NFL game. Check in and out was easy. There were a few bugs, but you expect that in the woods. Make sure to bring all of your essentials!

Weekend Basecamp

Spent the weekend at an event in the area - didnt spend alot of time at the location during the day. There is WiFi though ...Interior is just like the pictures. Theres a upper and lower deck. A way better value then a hotel room . It worked out well for us.

House is great!

The house is great, very clean, and accommodating for a family! I would have given a 5 star but the neighborhood appears very sketchy. The property does have a trailer directly in front of the house, which has a full time tenant; which is very nice and friendly. There is an older broken down truck in the driveway, and some trash that could be cleaned up. The walkway leading to the dock needs to be cleaned up as well. The dock is in very poor shape, broken wood pieces, steps missing, a very nasty paddle boat that literally has green water in it and smells awful! There is allot of debris around the dock as well, an abandoned jet ski, old boat parts etc. I can provide pictures of all the above mentioned. The house was very nice and met all our needs, I feel that the owner needs to know what kind of shape the property is in. And after talking with family, we would definitely stay there again if the opportunity came; but the property really needs some TLC.

Overall it was a nice visit.

The interior was wonderful and clean. This appears to be a new listing and still a work in process. The exterior of the property was not as desirable as the interior (old truck with flat tire in driveway along with multiple trailers, lack of finished landscaping, other unit on property is in disrepair, no furniture on dock to sit and enjoy the lake). In addition, WiFi was limited and as soon as more than 3 devices connected, TVs and connected devices began to loose connection to internet.

A little slice of heaven

This is an amazing property. Everything was so clean and tastefully decorated. They thought of just about everything from small appliances to coloring books for the kids. You could tell the home was recently built/updated everything was perfect. Two decks to enjoy our evenings outdoors with comfortable seating and gas grill. A nice path way to the dock where we could keep our boat for the duration of our stay. 2 nice size bathrooms and having laundry access was a plus. This will be our go to rental every year for fishing tournaments.
