About this property

Riverfront Caravan seconds from Bonnechere Provincial Park

Private remodeled caravan on a 90 acre river/lakefront property. Enjoy the sounds of wildlife and starry nights in the comfort of a newly remodeled 40 foot caravan r/v. Located on the Bonnechere River steps from Bonnechere Provincial Park. Nestled in an open area of a mixed forested property located on Round Lake in Killaloe. Within seconds access the river with four canoes and two kayaks and a paddle board a short walk down a trail to the floating dock with a small section of sandy shore suitable for swimming all summer season long. A provincial park beach is a short 5 minute paddle down the river. The caravan is setup fully off grid with solar and battery with imported spring water stored in a water cell. It is limited power available supplied by 12v.. There is plenty of wildlife found on the premises and lots to see and do in the area. There is a decommissioned 2 km walking trail directly off of the property. If you're into bird watching this is the place to be! In the spring and fall times this is a major wetland hub for migratory birds and hundreds of unique species can be observed throughout the year. Fishing is excellent in the river and lake. Many types of fish at this location including Bass, Pike, Pickerel, Perch, Lake Trout and many more. Come check out the scenery at Round Lake, hope to see you soon!

Weekend Getaway

Spent a couple of nights at trailer. Quiet and secluded property, great location with riverside trails to interesting lookouts. Owner very nice, attentive and always available if needed. Great time.

Weekend in the valley

The trailer was older but fully functional. Heat and fans for temperature control. There was lots of space to park and set up tents, the kitchen sink and stove worked well and the bbq was very helpful. The space was very nice with trails, canoeing, and the full camping experience. Great private quiet spot in the valley! Thanks Josh and family!

Perfect rustic weekend get away

We had everything we needed. The kayaking was so relaxing. And had fun navigating a decommissioned park trail adjacent to the property. Close to amenities if needed, but still have a ton of privacy, away from park campers. The trailer was very clean and provided all the basics needed.
