We had an incredible stay here with our family. The animals were a particular highlight for our son, who fell in love with Ernie and the baby wombats.
Grant and Holly were so lovely and welcoming and told you everything about the animals they rescue and their life.
The view from the house is amazing and the kangaroos you see on the property are incredible.
We also had the best Mexican meal at the restaurant owned by Grant and Holly. It was one of the nicest Mexican meals we have had.
Love staying here, felt really well looked after by our host, Grant, whos runs a Mexican restaurant in town with his partner which is also highly recommended - Will be back :)
Fabulous location with stunning view and beautiful wooded hills around that we wandered through. Hosts are super helpful and the small house perfect for a long weekend. I recommend the Mexican in Rylstone😊
A perfect little getaway, the accomodation was exactly what we needed and nothing more.
Great check in and communication from Grant, and he made myself and my family feel very welcome.
The property is incredible and such a great experience to be up close with native wildlife. Will be back!
Lovely location for weekend away, close to Rylstone.
The tiny home was comfortable and well equipped. My daughter loved the animals and the owner was really friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.
Our family love this farm. This was our second time in this farm and it was amazing, we already missed the farm and we will be back again. Grant is the owner very welcoming person. We missed Remy the kangaroo and teddy the dog my kids loved them.
Enjoyable stay in a compact tiny house. The view from the deck is fab. We came for a spot of bird photography and saw 21 different species on the property, many from the deck, a couple were first for us. The pet emu and house kangaroo were also very cute. The host was very helpful and considerate.
Great location - tranquil with beautiful sunrises and afternoons/evenings. Loved Ernie the Emu who was never far away, as well as wallabies, kangaroos and others. Short distance to everything the local area has to offer and also close to Mudgee, but far enough away to feel like "escapees" for a few peaceful days. Grant and Holly were welcoming hosts, and the "little house", as we came to call it, was clean and inviting. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Great little tiny home, that was the perfect size for our family of three.
A relaxing bush setting a short drive from the town centre of Rylestone.
The surrounding bushland had plenty of places to explore and the resident Emu, Ernie, was a hit with our daughter
Highly recommend if you are looking to get amongst nature and chill
Highly recommend this property and area for a weekend away.
We had a lovely time. The view was amazing, cabin is well positioned and designed to enjoy the view. The Animals were a highlight, we were able to interact with some of the rescue animals. Shower was fun with lots of setting choices and the property was amazingly clean. Hosts were wonderful, and added to our weekend away. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We found lots do to in the local area, with history tour, and some bush walks.
Really lovely getaway if you're looking to get away from the busy hustle and bustle of city life! The hosts Grant and Holly were so accomodating and lovely! Special thanks for the continual checking up when we got lost on the way there! Such an amazing view and there were various animals that we could interact with there! Overall, superb and would come again!
Grant was the perfect host making us feel comfortable right from the start. He is passionate about his rescue animals and we enjoyed hearing stories about how each animal came into his care! The property was comfortable and had everything we needed for the short stay.
The owners were very welcoming, and showed us the animals. We walked around the property, paddocks and some bushland. The house is well appointed and comfortable, good size for four of us, with great sunset views from the verandah. Would highly recommend.
It was the most amazing and relaxing experience we ever had in a farm. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The location is quite private very good to relax in nature. The farm has few different animals. Grant is an amazing, friendly and very generous person, he welcomed us to the farm and even provided milk for the kids. Grant showed us his animals we were very excited with his work, rescuing animals.
We will definitely visit the place again, we already missed it.
Our weekend at Lindoway was wonderful! The kids had so much fun getting to know all the animals, helping to feed them and giving lots of cuddles. The wombats, kittens and emu were the star of the stay for the kids!
The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. Grant and Holly were great hosts, who were more than happy to share their knowledge and made us feel at home on their farm.
We look forward to coming back!
For a city boy like my son being able to interact with baby wombats and other rescued animals was fantastic. The cottage is fine but a little spartan and not really set up for self-catering. Rylstone is a lovely little town and Mudgee easy driving on the Lue Rd
On arrival we were met by Ernie the Emu which set the tone for the rest of our brilliant stay at Lindoway. If you love farm and rescue animals, walks in your own private forest and a fire pit with a view then you won't be disappointed. Grant and Holly are wonderfully generous hosts who will make you feel very welcome. Can't wait to go back.
Grant is an absolute gentleman. The property is clean and tidy, has great views and Ideal for a couples get away for the weekend or bring the kids along with you, they will love the animals.
We had a great time and will definitely be visiting again.
