Stayed here for a 3 day break really lovely 1 bedroom unit upstairs. Has everything you need beautiful gas stove and oven and we did our own cooking great results. Smeg fridge freezer with matching kettle and toaster. This location is close to the beach if your walking depending on your walking speed about 20 to 30 mins maybe. The beach is huge and great for windsurfing. Relentless waves. Highly recommend staying here for a 2 person getaway.

Muriwai is an iconic Surf beach on Auckland's West Coast. THe surf beach is parolled over the summer periods by lifeguards and following their instructions and swimming between flags in the patrolled area is important. There is vast length of beach to walk, sand dunes to explore, popular coastal walkways along the coast between to different beaches to the South. An wolrd renowned Gannet colony is densely populated as a breeding and nurturing site for these birds through the summer months - a must see, where easy access takes you to within feet of the hundreds of nesting sites.
