The property could use a major update. All the furniture was uncomfortable. Condition of the downstairs was bad, and flooring was crumbling. Staircase was unsteady. Bicycle with 2 flat tires was not usable. The junk moped in the carport was in the way. The kitchen was fine. It was well stocked. Will not rent again. Horizon was wonderful to work with.
We had a great time and I would stay in this condo again. The location and the two pools were beautiful. The property manager was very responsive. There were a lot of fairly minor problems with the condo. The kitchen did not have a complete set of silverware or plates, etc. There were, I think, three dinner forks and some salad forks. There was an ironing board but no iron. Somewhere I read that there were laundry facilities in the condo - there were not, there is a shared laundry for a number of the units (busy at key check-out times). There was no hair dryer as listed. There is one very nice bedroom and a futon in the living room. One of the light switches in the bedroom has tape over it - whatever the reason for that, it should be fixed. The couch in the basement room could not be slept on, it had a very thin mattress made of several pieces and was rather short. The bicycle had flat tires. These are some examples - it just needs to be restocked and more attention paid to these features. I see that these same issues were addressed by most of the reviews - and either the owner or the property manager said that they would address them - but apparently this has not been done. NONE of these problems interfered with the great time that we had - but all lend an air of neglect to the condo.
The most impressive part was the responsiveness of the property management group. For example the dishwasher had an error code come up and the repair was made with in 2 days. The kitchen could use a few more everyday supplies (hand mixier, cheese grater, better potato peeler, strainer for pasta, number of plates, bowls, and silverware was limited) The vertical blinds did not all rotate. The kitchen table and benches are very nicely sized for this unit. The living room lacked a chair to sit in but we just brought one chair in off the Lanai. We would suggest that when the cabana is completed that the futon be taken down stairs and a nicer / more comfortable futon or pull out sleeper be placed up stairs. The unit was extremally clean and the appliances all functioned as if they were new.
The property was spacious and clean. Right next to pool and tennis courts. Parking was extremely close and convenient. Kitchen was very decent sized and appliances were fine. Laundry room in apartment. While not super luxurious the property was very functional. clean and enjoyable.
