Very relaxing stay

A remote cabin in some beautiful terrain. We enjoyed our stay. The only odd thing was a bunch of moths got in our last night! Maybe keep the windows closed (even though they do have screens on them)? They were excellent at communicating with us and cabin’s kitchen was nicely stocked. Thanks

Perfect cabin in a perfect location

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. This cabin is wonderfully secluded with amazing views everywhere you look. I was looking for a place to get away from everything and then also go drive some 4x4 trails. Well checkity-check because that's exactly what I was able to do while staying here. If you're into 4x4 trails then you have to check out Little Wolf Creek road. It's close to the cabin and is well worth the trip. Mission road is also enjoyable for the views and wildlife, but isn't complicated as far as "trails" are concerned, it's just a dirt road. While on Mission road I got up close to a herd of Bighorn sheep, which I then saw about 1/4 mile away from the cabin a few hours later. Back to the cabin though. Did I mention it was perfect? I would give up all of my possessions, except my dog, to call this cabin my home. My dog loved exploring the property and chasing the rabbit that lives near the propane tank. The cabin is very comfortable and has everything you could need during your stay. It was so hard to leave, but I will definitely return at a later date.

Montana road trip

We had such an amazing trip! The cabin was perfect for what we wanted! Beautiful views out every window, secluded and cozy. About 2 hours from Glacier Nation park which was perfect! We were so excited to be able to bring our pup with! Highly recommend we would stay again!

Beautiful

The place is well decorated, has very comfy beds, all the comforts of home, games in the basement. The owner was in communication with me when needed. I would stay again on our way through.

Home Base!

We had a great weekend at the cabin! The cabin was really cute, and a great location that allowed us quick access to the river but also felt isolated and peaceful. Great communication from the property owner. We would definitely stay again.

All was fine.

Cabin was cute and nice. Had pretty much everything you would expect it to have. We enjoyed our stay there. Since it was cold and snowing, we also enjoyed using the wood-burning stove. Bed slept good. My wife had the best night sleep of her life, every night we stayed there.

This is amazing!

This was such an incredible property! We stayed here as part of our honeymoon cross country trip and let me tell you it was the highlight of our trip! While we missed out on some stargazing due to fires about 80 miles away and lots of smoke in the sky, it was still and incredible stay! The home was so warm and comforting, the hosts made us a welcome basket that made us feel so welcomed, and the land itself was incredible, we loved just walking around the property and enjoying the peace and quiet! We will be booking again on our next trip so we can stargaze! Cannot wait to come back!

I guess this says it all.

We liked our previous stay at this cabin so much that we stayed there again just a few weeks later. I guess that says it all, doesn't it.

All was well.

Cabin was nice and we enjoyed our stay. My wife really liked the mattress and pillows of the main floor bed. So much we asked, and received, the details of those so my wife could order the same for our home. Weather was great! It snowed most of the days we were there. Used the wood-burning stove one night and enjoyed it. Cooked much bacon every morning and fried eggs in the grease. That was good eating.

Spectacular cabin with great view and full amenities

We' are two guys fishing the Missouri River. This cabin is a little over 20 minute drive from Craig and Wolf Creek but worth every minute of it. In fact the drive is one of the highlights as it's great for wildlife viewing. Our only issue was we never wanted to leave the cabin to go fishing. The views were spectacular with antelope out on the hillside. I can't say enough positive things about this cabin. It would be a cabin anyone would want to own let alone stay in.

We’ll be back!

Views and privacy! Hard to beat in a rental property. We enjoyed exploring the small towns in the vicinity as well as larger towns a bit further. Great location to relax and stretch your travel opportunities. We visited Glacier NP, Great Falls, Helena and several other areas all in only four days. Coming back to this home felt so relaxing and refreshing. Plenty of space and all the kitchen amenities you could ask for. The home is positioned perfectly to view both sunrise and sunset. Stargazing is also amazing. We have already recommended this property to others and plan to return for sure!

Piece of heaven in the middle of nowhere

I'll preface this to say that this location isn't for everyone; if you're one that needs fast food, Walmarts, and other "necessities" of civilization, you probably wouldn't like staying here. Having said that, it was perfect for us! It has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. The views are awesome, with brilliant sunrises and sunsets. There are also pronghorn, deer, and rabbit visits, not to mention the local herd of Angus. Although the cabin is remote, it is only a 3 hour drive to East Glacier, and a few minutes more to Waterton. Plus, it's centrally located to Great Falls, Helena, and Missoula. If you have a 4WD vehicle, there's lots of Forest Service roads to explore, too. If/when we come back to Montana, we'll make sure we rent this cabin again!

Actions are louder than words.

I stayed at this cabin a month ago and liked it. Therefore I returned and stayed at it again. In fact, during my first stay, my wife wanted me to see if I could purchase this cabin for her. I spoke with the owner, who had no plans to put the cabin up for sale and said any offer would have to be stellar. So I made no offer. During this second visit, my wife again asked if I could buy this cabin for her. I will follow up on that request. We obviously like the place.

Perfect Spot for Peace and Quiet

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin itself is beautifully appointed, with lovely furnishings and touches throughout. We found it to be a perfect balance of rustic and comfortable. The home had all the comforts we wanted, including central heat, smart lock, and reliable wifi. The hot water came quickly and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the appliances and equipment we needed for cooking. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. We had lovely evenings playing board games (there was a nice selection) by a fire or watching a movie. Mostly we enjoyed just looking at the endless views out every window. Our dogs enjoyed the wide open land around the cabin. As it states in the title, this cabin is remote, so be sure to stock up on groceries and gas in one of the towns en route to the cabin. We had fun looking around the nearby towns of Wolf Creek and Augusta, and took a day trip to visit Gates of the Mountains and Helena. The cabin is true to the photos in the listing. We would absolutely stay there again.

This one gets Five Stars!

I had never visited Montana before this trip ….so this was a real adventure for our family. We could not have been more pleased. The landscape is beautiful… this cabin was super clean, super spacious and super special. The drive up from Bozeman to this cabin was spectacular. You have views of both the mountains and the Missouri River. Once we arrived, the inside of the cabin was exactly like it looked in the pictures. The furniture was comfortable. The large open windows had magnificent views. This cabin felt like a real retreat. Sadly, I was stuck with a little office work to do …. but the cabin’s WIFI was really fast and easily handled my Zoom calls. (I actually had a better connection than some of my coworkers in the city.) The spotless kitchen had the necessities – pots, pans, glasses, silverware etc. The nearest grocery store is about a 20 minute drive so it might be a good idea to shop before you get there. We made a separate trip to the General Store in Augusta Mt…which is a charming, small-town, all -purpose store which has groceries. Our favorite activity was sitting on those Adirondack chairs on the deck outside and gazing at the mountains. The a/c was fine during the day and the nights were cool. It would have been nice to have met the owner in person. But he responded pretty fast to our texts and emails and seemed generally interested in our stay. When we left, we ran into the maid who was coming to clean for the next guests. We thanked her for keeping the place so tidy for us. I recommended this cabin to my sister in Maryland for a future vacation. This one gets Five Stars!

Cabin with potential but needs alot of improvement

I will start with positives and then cover areas of concern for future potential guests. Pros: Wonderful 360-degree views with large windows. Good privacy. Interior furnishings tasteful, good quality, comfortable. Internet & TV excellent. Kitchen well stocked. Cons: • Cleanliness – upon arrival bed linens had hair on them (human, dog or both), kitchen fridge and microwave were filthy, kitchen cabinet shelves were dirty, mouse traps, lots of dead moths in windowsills. I wrote emails to owner and Evaro host on VRBO immediately after checking in detailing cleanliness issues as I did not want to be blamed later on when I checked out. • Moth Infestation was really bad. I killed dozens during my stay. • Insufficient Supplies -- Bathroom soap container was empty and only one roll of toilet paper, woefully insufficient for week-long stay, considering nearest place where one can buy toilet paper is 30 minutes away. • Blinds are not easy to roll back up once lowered. Must be done manually if tall enough to reach the top rod or climb on a chair, which is a guest safety issue. • Easy chair and ceiling fan in living room do not work. • Portable window a/c unit is not adequate for heat in the 90s, often malfunctions and turns itself from cool to fan only mode middle of the night. Hard to sleep when you’re sweltering. • Safety – listing for this site spends whole paragraph on 4 exterior video audio security cameras. Yet, there is one major safety issue NOT addressed. Window where portable a/c unit is installed is unlocked, cracked slightly open and very easy for anyone to open. All they need is short ladder placed on deck outside. • Washer & Dryer are in basement down steep set of stairs. Should be clearly stated in listing. • Unreliability of cell phone service should be stated in VRBO listing. I have Verizon and even turning on wi-fi calling did not work. I was never able to receive or make phone calls during my stay. Owner did respond to my cleaning issues email and offered to have cleaning staff return to clean again. I declined this offer as I did not want my privacy invaded and also would have been uncomfortable having cleaning people come back while I was present who knew about my criticisms, and I certainly wouldn’t have left them there without me present with all my stuff inside. This place needs substantial improvements to meet basic levels of quality those of us who are experienced VRBO travelers expect and to warrant the price.
