Ground Floor Condo Unit B-109 - ISLAND OF MOLOKAI...

One of the best things about a ground floor unit is the convenience of NO STAIRS and you can just walk out the lanai to the beach/ocean, pool, cabana, gardens or BBQ area.

The east side of Moloka’i island is the lush side and the grounds of Wavecrest are proof of the tropical beauty. From the condo's lanai you will see the most amazing sunrises over the island of Maui. Condo has an ocean view and looks over the lush beautiful gardens and pool/cabana area.

Condo is fully equipped with the necessary household amenities. Fully stocked kitchen. One bedroom with a queen bed, a pull out queen size sleeper sofa, and a twin day bed provides sleeping up to four individuals. For those traveling with an infant, a pack and play is available in the condo for your use.

Beach towels are provided. The cabana/pool area includes a refrigerator, prep area with sink/faucet, shower, bathrooms, two gas grills, a guest donated library, and plenty of seating. On the condo grounds there is a tennis court and a shuffle board. The condo is equipped with racquets and balls. Additional supplies for the shuffle board and pickle ball are available at the office. There is a flat screen tv with DVD player and cable, plus an assortment of music and movies. Condo has its own wi-fi internet access so you’ll be able to view and book activities while at the condo. The condo also has a variety of games and puzzles to use during your stay. Washer and dryer are located on each floor of each condo building.

Moloka’i is truly a unique place. A place to visit, explore and/or relax then you can realize the splendors of the island - to come back to paradise.

Nice stay.

Good place on the east end

The bed was comfortable. Everything was fine. The grounds were very well kept and beautiful. We had some problems at first figuring out the TV and the host was very quick in getting back to us with suggestions.

Nice, clean and convenient

Our family of four stayed here for a couple days while visiting family on Molokai. The unit was nice, clean, and included quite a few items that made traveling with a family easier. Definitely would recommend, especially to those traveling with children.

Molokai "The great escape".

After visiting 4 other islands I finally found the Hawaii I've yearned. Communication with condo owners Jim and Pauline was seamless. The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean, can sleep 5 comfortable. It was like being at home but at the oceanside. i.e. fully equipped kitchen (including some seasonings/sauces). Prudent to bring "some" food or stop in town on the way from the airport depending on arrival time on the island. Prearranged car rental or taxi suggested. There is limited inner island transpotation /bus (free but accepts donations). Transportation schedules posted inon wall in office area. Nearest swimable beach about 7 miles. My only negative is even though the beach is just steps away it's not swimmable.

Quiet Paradise

The unit was clean and well appointed. The owners were very easy to work with. The resort maintains the grounds and common areas very well. The resort is about a 30-minute drive from town and 40-minute drive from the airport. If you are looking for a quiet get-a-way with no traffic or large crowds, this is a great option. One caveat: If you think you have to be within 5 minutes of a grocery store, this is not for you. You need to plan meals about a week ahead. There is a full-size refrigerator/freezer so food storage is not a problem. BONUS: You can watch a sunrise from your ground floor patio while enjoying breakfast and then in the evening, you can walk a few steps around the building and make new friends as you enjoy a sunset together.

Perfect Getaway

Our favorite place on Molokai Totally stocked and ready, every detail thought of. Comfortable bed, full kitchen and bathtub, one minute from the pool and the beach, couldn’t have asked for a better place or nicer people to rent from. They answered all my questions quickly and we very easy to work with regarding Covid requirements etc

Relaxing Molokai Condo

This is a nice quiet, clean condo with all the amenities two people would need. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments, and there's a good selection of pots, pans and utensils for cooking. Although it says it can accommodate four people, I think it might feel a bit crowded with four. The grounds are well kept, the pool is immaculate and the permanent residents seem friendly. We enjoyed using the beach chairs and recreational equipment they had in the closet for use. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to our friends!

Best Hawaii experience

The host made sure that we know that it is in Molokai island before approving our request. We found it useful since we are going to come from Oahu island then transfer to Molokai. The condo felt like home away from home. Clean and welcoming. It has everything we needed and even thingz we didnt know we need. It is properly stocked! The condo doesn't have any AC but it gets cooler at night. The view was also stunning! We can see the beach from the patio. The staff at Wavecrest was very friendly! We highly recommend this place and would love to visit again in the future.

Great place, lots of extras

Clean, had everything we needed for cooking and a great stay. Enjoyed walk across grass to see sunrise and sunsets. Nice view between pool and building of water while enjoying our meals on the lanai. Small market with a great take-out food counter nearby at Mana'e Goods & Grindz. The take-out had a huge menu and food was very good. No need to drive into town.

Everything was great however, there was miscommunication regarding COVID restrictions and protocol. Thru our checkin email, we were informed a negative COVID test was needed prior to checkin. Our other rental required proof of vaccinations. We called the Wavecrest office to confirm which was needed and neither were required. Checkin process email just needs to be updated.

Want to relax - this is it!

Quiet. Signal is not strong so it makes you really unwind and relax. Beautiful view of Maui. Pool and cabana close to lanai. This town is charming, slow paced and the people are friendly. The beaches are wonderful and if you have snorkeling equipment you can see some amazing fish. The property has all the things you might need on your stay! I was pleased and we want to return.

Covid Restrictions

I guess due to covid your only allowed 5 people per unit, that means if you already have 5 in a unit you no longer can have visitors ( I was confused with what I read and my vistors( ohana) came to the unit) the person who takes care of the unit was outside at the time, and saw the people coming to visit, instead if telling me anything she decided to send an email to the owners. I'm originally from molokai, it's a small island and everyone knows everyone so I knew it was that lady who takes care of unit b109. If she was so concerned she should've at least told me something , Instead of just smiling at me than making it seem like it was such a big deal. On maui we are allowed 10 people during functions. Just wasn't aware of only 5 people in unit and no visitors. Other then the restrictions it was a great condo, was fully stocked with everything needed for your stay, only thing I could think of the condo needing is an iron, as I was getting ready for a party and I needed to iron our clothes I couldn't find one at all any where. (Unless I missed a place of looking) other then that everything else is already in the condo.
